-A/N- Hello, and welcome to my new story. I wrote this story due to the small amount of Splatoon/Pokémon x-overs that I can find. Hope you enjoy! Stay Fresh! -A/N-

"Y'all know what time it is!' a peppy voice cut through the silence.
"It's Off the Hook, coming at you live from Inkopolis Square!" a slightly deeper, but equally peppy voice continued."
"It's time to reveal today's -" The first voice started, only to be cut off by the second,
"Pearlie! We have a news announcement!"
"Oh yeah!" the now-revealed Pearl exclaimed, "Thanks Marina!"
"You're welcome Pearl!" Marina responded.
"Anyways," Pearl continued, "We have just received breaking news of an outbreak of a disease called Anthrofluenza or the Anthro Flu!"
"Its symptoms are," Marina stated, "fainting or dizziness, and then the gaining of Pokèmon-esque traits."
"The Anthro Flu is highly contagious, and can spread to you from two yards away, but it has a small delay, right Marina?" Pearl asked.
"Right!" Marina responded, "If anybody you know has any of these symptoms, isolate yourself immediately." Then a thump was heard.
"Marina!" Pearl exclaimed, "Marina, are you okay? Please answer me Marina!"
Then the broadcast cut out.
