Nathan Wallace walks into GeneCo the same way he usually does: really not wanting to be there, and not really noticing what's going on in his peripheral view. But this morning he hears a giggle coming from the front desk, where appointments are made and medical charts are updated.
"Excuse me, miss...?"
The new head medical clerk blushes, pulls an earbud from her head and says, "Kurata. Please, call me Eve. May I help you, Dr. Wallace?"
He shakes his head and says, "Never mind..." As he gets in the elevator and the doors close, he hears a voice sing, "I think about you all the time; I see you in my dreams..." and another giggle.
