They reeked of rot as they closed in.
As Anguar fought the abomination off, the Nerubian Webspinner prepared a web wrap. Anguar barely got off his Hand of Protection. The geists were all frenzied, clawing at him, though he was protected.
The ground shook.
The paladin looked around. Even the geists paused. He turned and saw a Plague giant. The paladin looked up, and viewed the giant's rotted, monstrous foot hurtling down towards him. He yelled- and woke.
"You must be quiet, honey," Kirga whispered," or you'll wake the kid,"
"I know, I'm sorry, Kirga." Anguar said quietly.
"What happened in that dream, Anguar?" Kirga asked.
"Nothing, my princess, nothing." Anguar responded.
"Was it about your secret?" She pressed.
"No, Kirga! Please, don't push me, please." Anguar said, anguished.
"Okay, my holy knight, I'll stop." Kirga replied.
Anguar admired his wife, as she did him. Being a dwarf she was muscular and stocky, with a pretty face (for a female dwarf) and a strong personality. She normally was cheerful and supporting, but now she looked at her husband with concern. Anguar was also muscular and stocky, but had a huge, furry beard, and was also balding. He was powerful and recently rather grim, as if he knew a terrible secret. She had pressed him with questions, but he always changed the subject. She considered herself lucky to have been chosen by him to be his wife because Anguar was a veteran of the Second War.
Hurkin, their child, was yet only 19 years old, still a child to dwarven standards. They both cherished him. But Kirga had heard a conversation between Anguar and his friend, Aiden LeNoir, the human rogue. Kirga did not like Aiden much, probably due to the fact that the man was sneaky and black-hearted, both common traits of a decent rogue. She overheard that Aiden along with her husband as well as Daniel Soortan, the priest, and Woodsie Leafsong, the druid, would venture North to Northrend, and attempt to rid the land of Scourge. However, Aiden would be going on a mission for a secret agency and would not be back for a year and six months. She had confronted Anguar about this, and he said that no matter what she did, he would aid in the quest, an enormous undertaking. The party, accompanied by the red dragon Axtroz, would go to Northrend, and purge it. She insisted that if it must be so, she would go with them...
