DK swung underneath the thick branch, swiping his arm to try and reach the rather large batch of bananas.
He swung away from the bananas, swinging towards the tree opposite. DK waited until the right moment, then jumped from the tree towards the bananas. He succeeded in reaching the bananas, sending them flying into the air.
For one endless moment he hug in the air, bananas gleaming all around him. Then he noticed the strange coin. It had been sent spinning from the center of the bunch of the bananas, and resembled a banana coin expect it had no banana imprint. Instead it had a circle with a plus of sorts placed in the lower left hand corner.
Reality returned as DK fell to the ground, bananas falling all around him. The coin bounced off his head and into his hand. DK looked at it for a moment before flipping it into the air and catching it again.
Inside Cranky Kong's shop DK presented the coin to his grandfather. The older Kong looked at the coin for a moment before leaping into the backrooms, coming out with a strange letter.
DK read the letter only once before leaping from the door, already at a run when he hit the ground. He passed the spot he had been before, not even pausing as he grabbed a nearby Diddy and swung him unto his back.
The two looked at each other and nodded, unspoken words traveling between them.
