Daphne was tired, so very tired. She was tired of the weight that she'd put on and finally lost and more importantly she was tired of the fighting with Niles. Of all the people that knew her and loved her, it was his support during this terrible time she needed the most. But alas, that wasn't meant to be, apparently, and so she wondered what she would do next.

She couldn't imagine a world without Niles Crane being in it. He'd loved her for so long, and for their dreams to be squashed over some silly bickering, well, that seemed a bit silly. But it was what it was, and so she stood still, trying to put her thoughts together.

She'd put on sixty pounds and he hadn't even noticed! Was he so blinded by his "love goggles" that he'd forgotten who she was?

It appeared to be the case, and the thought made Daphne even sadder than she thought possible. In her personal life she'd come so far, only to lose the love of her life over this problem! What was she to do now?

Fortunately for her, she didn't have to wait long. For it was in that very moment that Niles ran back through the door into her welcoming arms. He loved her. Of course he did! What she didn't realize was that what happened between them next would change the course of their relationship, for the better.

And it hadn't happened a moment too soon.
