Hi this is my first story so sorry if the characters are OOC. I am also not the best writer (I suck), sorry...I say sorry too much...well, I hope you like the story. :) Also sorry it's short.

Beeeeeep! Beeeeeep! Beee-!

Yuzuru slammed his hand on top of his alarm clock and aimlessly searched for the off button. He opened his eyes slightly seeing a faint light coming from his window.

"Ugh, what time is it?" he asked himself, half asleep. After looking at the time he groaned remembering that today was his first day of the new school year. He began dragging himself out of his bed though he ended up tripping and falling on his face.

"Damn," he mumbled. When he looked back at his foot, he saw that his foot was wrapped in a bed sheet. He quickly kicked it off and stumbled into his apartment's bathroom. He decided on wearing a light green jacket, a white shirt, and black pants. Once he finished getting ready for the day, he walked into the kichten, grabbed his backpack, and looked at the time.

'Only 7:30. I'm early. Might as well stop at the cafe and get something to eat,' Yuzuru mused to himself while walking out of the apartment building.

As he was walking down the street he saw a girl with red hair singing and playing a guitar across the street. The girl's voice and appearence all seemed familiar, but he decided to brush it off.

'Probably just someone from school last year.'

He arrived at the cafe soon after seeing the girl and he walked inside the building. Yuzuru ordered a cup of coffee and a muffin. While he was eating his breakfast he thought about the day ahead. Today was a step closer to his goal, he was offically a senior in highschool.

'One more year until I can start training to become a doctor,' he thought to himself.

He finished his small meal, and strode outside again to finish his walk to the school campus. Then he heard someone humming a song that was oddly familiar just like the girl playing the guitar.

He looked back and saw a girl with short white hair, a hat that covered her eyes, and a white sundress with a light blue sweater. She pulled out her phone and looked the screen then began walking away in the opposite direction of Yuzuru. Yuzuru felt drawn to her, so he began to run after her. Once he was behind her he grabbed the girl's shoulder and turned her around. When she was facing him, he saw two golden eyes peering questioningly at him.

Then Yuzuru remembered everything of the Afterlife.

"K-Kanade?" he asked, stunned.

"Yuzuru," she replied.

Yuzuru then embraced her quickly with tears stinging his eyes.

"I never thought I would see you again. I love you Kanade," he said with a quivering voice.

"I love you too Yuzuru," Kanade said in her quiet tone, but her voice was filled with emotion.

They continued standing in the sidewalk embracing, not caring about the people walking by staring at them.

"Thank you Yuzuru."

"Let's stay together forever."

"Okay. Thank you."
