"Come on Connor!" Abby's yells filled the ARC, it was late at night, and everyone had left the ARC...except four of them, Jess, Becker, Connor and Abby. "God, you're rubbish!" She muttered. She and Connor were playing against Jess and Becker at table football. Connor insisted it was something he was good at, and could easily beat Becker, but instead of playing with the two of them, the men decided they needed some female help, which proved to be most useful.

"What?" Connor yelled, his face filled with concentration, "I'm amazing!"

"Shut up Temple," Becker muttered, "That's why you haven't scored yet is it?"

"Well..." Connor stuttered, "I don't see you scoring either!"

"Shut up Connor," Abby whispered as she spun her steel rod of men, inching closer to the goal, "Oh, come on!" She sighed, Connor edged closer to his end of the table as he began to see Abby's competitive side. Connor couldn't help but chuckle, quickly stopping a goal from Becker and gave him a quick smirk.

"Come on action man, you're gonna have to do a lot better than that!" Connor chuckled as he aimed the football for his goal, and scoring "He shoots, he scores!"Connor yelled, throwing Abby a high five.

"So who wins?" Abby smirked as she looked at Connor, "Oh it wasn't them," She pointed towards Becker and Jess, "That must mean it was...us! Yes, we won!"

"You got one goal!" Becker pointed out, he hated the thought of having to admit be lost against Connor of all people.

"That was the deal?" Connor pointed out, after over half an hour of them playing, neither of them even getting a goal, they decided it was easier to allow whoever scored the first goal to win.

"Yes but..." Becker stuttered, he knew he couldn't deny it in front of three of them, especially when he knew he was wrong, he simple gave up at sighed at Connor and Abby. "Fine, you and Abby win Temple." He said to them, all he got from Connor was frankly the smuggest smile he had ever seen. "Don't look at me like that Temple; you're buying the drinks now!" He grinned, grabbing his jacket, politely passing Jess hers, who simply smiled at him. She never knew quite how to act around Becker, she didn't want to come off to serious and job based, that wasn't her, but she didn't want to come off as a giggling, stuttering fool who was just the youngest in the group and acted like a child with a crush. Jess giggled gently as she saw Connor's smug smile quickly disappear and simply sighed at them.

"But I don't want to buy the drinks!" Connor sighed, but instead of arguing with Connor for the nest half an hour, Becker and Jess walked in front of them to go the bar.

"Come on," Abby smiled and him and grabbed his hand, "I don't fancy getting locked in this place.." She giggled as the lights began to switch off.

"You're right," Connor nodded, "It was awful the last time that had happened."

"Yeah, it was, now come on! Drinks are calling us!" Abby smiled as she walked in front of him, hearing Jess and Becker leave in the lift before them.

"Alright! Alright!" Connor smiled at her enthusiasm and chased after her, grabbing their jackets before they hit the cold weather outside. "Here," He smiled, placing her jacket on her, "Forgot this, don't want you freezing."

"Thanks Con." Abby smiled gently, grabbing his hand. "Now, let's go bully Becker and wind him up about losing, 'ey?"

"Sounds like a plan!" Connor grinned down at her, walking down the corridor for a moment, before Connor broke the silence, "Abs?" He whispered.

"Yeah?"

"You were great tonight." He smiled at her, he'd never seen her so competitive, but he liked it, "We make a great team!"

"Always." She whispered, her and Connor had always worked great together from the start, "Now, come on!"

The End. Had to end it on some Abby/Connor.
