Anubis PoV
"I told you many times, Anubis! You can't be with a mortal." Osiris shouted at me. "But, Master..." I tried to explain. "No, Anubis. I decided this and you are going to respect my order." "Are you afraid because is your daughter?" "I don't said this because Sadie is my daughter. A god can't be with a mortal. Doesn't matter who is her father!" "But Master, I won't hurt her!" I said angrily. "You don't understand? She will die one day and you won't! After that you probably will get another girlfriend and her spirit will be sad in the Afterworld." "Sir, I will do anything for her, I don't care what! I can give up my immortal life for her! Osiris, please understand this!" "I understand very well now." He closed his eyes and everything got dark.
Sadie PoV
It was a sunny day so I decided to go for a walk. I was wearing a T-shirt and a skirt, with my headphones in my ears. I sat on a bench.
Suddenly, I spotted someone who was walking on the other side of the road. I recognized his black hair and his black clothes. But Anubis looked sad. He was walking like his shoes were heavier than normal. "Anubis?!" I called him. He rised his head and when he saw me he smiled. He crossed the road.
Anubis PoV
Perfect, I thought. Sadie was the person who I wanted to talk about what has happened to me. "Hi!" she said smiling. "What's wrong?" " Hi Sadie, I have to talk with you." "What's happened? And why are you here? There isn't any graveyard around." "Sadie, I will tell you. But it's OK. In this morning, I and Osiris had a fight about our situation. He was angry, very angry." She took my hand and I continued. "I said that I will never hurt you but he didn't listened. He told me that one day you will die and I will get another girlfriend and your spirit will be sad. I told him that I could give up my immortality for you, and then I woke up in the nearest graveyard and I realized that my immortal life is gone. Sadie, I am a mortal now."
She was looking at me with tears in her eyes. "Anubis..." I put my arm on her shoulders. "It's Ok, Sadie. This is what I want. I don't care that I will die if I could be with you." I said and I said the truth.
She came closer and started crying. "It will be ok..." I whispered to her. Then she did something unexpected, she kissed me. "I love you!" "I love you too!"
