Hey people.. I finally got some inspiration to write this. :)
Disclaimer: Honestly, do you think I'd be posting this on here if I owned Bones or the characters? All I own are a load of dvds, books, cds and games. Even a wardrobe full of clothes. I even own Daniella Thompson. Unless, of course there's someone called Daniella Thompson out there. Then I don't own her. And I apologise if you got the wrong end of the stick.
And I've just realised that I'm starting to ramble a little..
Prologue
If there was one thing Daniella Thompson hated more than anything else, it was faulty logic. Strange, but pathetically true.
And yet, her she was, on a plane to Washington D.C. to work at the Jeffersonian Institution. Even though, back in England, she had a perfectly good job.
Sure, there was the factor that she'd be working alongside Dr. Temperance Brennan and the FBI, and she'd be working in a world-class medico-legal lab. But honestly, she was leaving her whole family behind. Her nearest relatives lived in Nova Scotia, Canada. The rest lived in back in England.
As soon as she'd had a taste of working with Temperance Brennan and Seeley Booth, she'd been hooked. When she'd gotten the job offer, she'd literally jumped at the offer and accepted it immediately. She'd left her home of 26 years, and she was moving to a whole new country, on the other side of the world.
She simply couldn't get to grips with why she'd done it. Yes, she supposed she needed to leave the nest eventually, and that working with a world-renowned forensic anthropologist would help her learn more. But she'd left her whole life behind.
Daniella sighed. Maybe she'd understand when she landed in D.C. For now, she'd drown herself in the latest in-flight movie. This is what her life had come to, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Fantastic.
Alright, so, you gonna review and let me know if people are gonna read this? Or am I just gonna have to keep writing till one of you higher beings takes pity? Lol. Seriously though. Review. :D You know you want to.
