Together Again

Summary: Another Percy-come-home-one-shot-quick-fic, Ginny spots a red- haired man in Madam Malkin's. Hopefully expresses some pent-up emotion of my own.

Disclaimer: If I owned Harry Potter, Sirius would be alive and cleared, and Hermione dating Harry. Therefore I claim no ownership over Harry Potter and Co. and/or Starbucks Inc. (they make frappuccinos, right?). That means you can't sue me, and I can keep my stuff.

A/N: For my littler big bro.

Ginny walked down Diagon Alley in the heat of a sunny August afternoon, drinking what Muggles called a "Frappuccino" and singing softly under her breath. She had grown to love the non-magical world, like her father. She was, in fact, dressed in Muggle clothes, attracting odd stares but decidedly wizardly because of the wand sticking out of her back pocket (despite Moody's constant warnings about losing a buttock).

She gazed into a familiar shop. The sign above the door read, "Madame Malkin's: Robes for All Occasions." A young man stood on a stool in the center of the room. Madame Malkin was crouched near the hem of his robes, sticking pins in with enthusiasm. The man's expression was oddly familiar . . . he shouted and waved his arms about wildly, obviously unhappy about the pins sticking out of his socks. The man muttered and glanced up. His eyes met Ginny's. The green eyes were trying to place her behind furrowed brows. Ginny fumbled in her own memory . . . green eyes, red hair, but nobody in her family . . . unless it was . . . she dropped her coffee and whispered, "Percy . . .?"

Behind the glass windows, the red-haired man stared vaguely at the girl outside. She had his eyes . . . his hair . . . his face . . . he saw the girl mouth his name. His eyes widened. "Ginny?!"

Ginny burst through the door. Percy leaped off the stool, sending pins flying everywhere. His sister rushed into his arms, and he held her there as if he'd never let go. Ginny buried her face in his robes and cried.

Percy felt tears streaming down his face as he looked down at Ginny's tear streaked one. His voice cracked as he spoke. "Ginny," he whispered, "I love you."

She smiled. "I love you too, Perce," she said.

In those three words, the sadness of the past three years washed itself away with their tears. They were finally crying and laughing together, together again. The perfect picture: brother and sister together again.

A/N: I was mildly surprised when I read of Percy's latest deeds, it is uncannily like a recent situation concerning someone very important to me. Funny thing, my own long-lost big brother called about a week later. I thought Percy deserved to come home too.

Thanks for reading, please let me know what you thought. ^-^ I was feeling kinda sad when I thought of this, it reflects on a hope of mine.
