A/N: Review, as always, and enjoy!
"Rose!" He screamed, bolting up out of a dead sleep. A cold sweat glistened over his skin and his hearts beat rapidly. It had returned; the dream, no, the nightmare of loosing Rose.
Sleep was something he needed little of thanks to his physiological make-up, but recently he'd been deprived even the little bit he required. Every time he drifted off to sleep his dreams were haunted with visions of loosing Rose, of never seeing her again.
"Doctor," A familiar voice called through his door. "Doctor, are you all right?"
He sat back against his headboard and sighed. It had just been a dream, it hadn't come true, and Rose was just outside his door.
When he didn't answer, she spoke up again. "Doctor? All right, I'm coming in." And with that the door clicked open, revealing a sleepy Rose, wearing shorts and a thin tank top, her hair piled atop her head messily.
The Doctor swallowed hard at the sight of her and squeezed his eyes shut; letting out the breath he'd been holding.
"Blimey Doctor, wha' happened? I 'eard ya call my name an' I came as quick as I could." She was beside him on his bed now, looking at him worriedly, clutching his hands in her own.
"Just a nightmare, God Rose, I thought I'd lost you." He revealed, quickly wrapping her in an embrace.
"Nah, ya can't get rida me that easily." Rose smiled, returning the hug. "You're stuck wif me." She grinned, pulling away.
"And I wouldn't have it any other way."
