Kaien approached the Kuran Manor, looking for Juuri Kuran. He needed to comfort his love in this tough time. He came to the doorstep and knocked. The small boy that was called Kaname Kuran opened the door and stared at the Vampire Hunter called Kaien Cross. Behind him was Yuuki Kuran, she hid behind her older brothers back, afraid of Kaien.

"You filth!" Kaname cried at the man, "You're here to take advantage of our fathers death! Aren't you!" His tears fell onto the carpet as he screamed, "AREN'T YOU?"

Kaien looked at the child seeming hurt, "I'm sorry, Kaname." Kaien ducked past the two siblings and ran towards the room he heard the cries from. As he left he heard the cries from the two, "Your disgusting!" Kaname screamed after him.

He slowly opened the door and saw the older version of Yuuki crying into her pillow, she screamed one name, Haruka.

Kaien felt clumsy, and found his way to the woman, "Juuri…I-"

Juuri sat up immediately, "K-K-Kaien!" She cried hugging them, "Kaien, I don't…" Juuri trailed off into mumbles but then cried into Kaiens chest hugging him, "I'm such a coward!" She screamed.

"Shh," Kaien hushed the crying woman, "Rido lives on, Haruka…well Haruka made the choice, but you. This is your life, you decide what to do."

Juuri sat up and looked at Kaien. Her dark red eyes filled with tears. She stared at Kaiens scarf, the scarf that covered his warm blood…Juuri found herself crawling towards him, "Blood…" She whispered, "Must have-"

"Juuri-guh," Her fangs sank into his neck, "Juuri…"

He stroked her long hair as she drained his body of life.

Kaien's eyes fluttered open, he felt nauseous and uneasy. He sat up and touched his neck quickly. He felt nothing, he took his hand away and saw no blood on it either.

He jumped up quickly and ran towards the door, "Juuri!" He called out, "Juuri!"

Kaname appeared in front of him with a frown. His eyes filled of tears, "She is asleep." He told Kaien, "Don't awake her yet."

"Thank you, Kaname." Kaien said but walked past him. But again, Kaname appeared in front of him, "Don't awake her." Kaname said, voice now cold.

"Kaname." Kaien said sternly and impatiently, "Please."

"Kin…" A small voice giggled, "Kin! Kin! Kin!"

Kaien looked to his side, and felt his head drop down so that he could look at the small girl tugging at his jacket, "Yuuki?" Kaien answered, "Yes?"

"Kin! Mama wants to see you, Kin!" Yuuki giggled nervously.

"Thank you, Yuuki." Kaien walked past her, but had Kaname and Yuuki trail after.

Kaien wandered into the living room where he expected Juuri to be. She was.

Juuri was crouched into a ball, her clothes soaked, and a wet carpet stain of her tears beneath her.

Kaien ran to her worriedly, "Juuri!"

"Kaien!" Her expression lightened up, "You're here. Kaname. Yuuki." She smiled at them, "I left a snack out on the table. You may eat it outside if you wish. Be careful!"

Yuuki ran off but paused when Kaname wasn't coming, "No." Kaname told her with a straight face.

Juuri's expression turned dark, "Kana-"

"No, Mother." Kaname said again, "Your not well. This man will just-"

"Kaname." She said, voice stern and louder than usual, "Don't backtalk to me."

Kaname froze and then ran off, leaving his mother and the Vampire Hunter behind together as they kissed sweetly, knowing that they belonged together, knowing their love would last forever.
