A green bear sauntered into his house, forcefully pushing the door open. A creamy cat followed, her blue gaze darting across the room, "So, this is your home, Lime?" Lime flopped onto a brown couch and grabbed the remote, "Si, Sunny."
Sunny grabbed her iPhone from her jacket pocket and turned it on, proceeding to type in her password. "Do you have any Wi-Fi here?" The feline asked, eager to get onto YouTube or DeviantART.
Lime let out a chuckle, "Yeah, 'course I do! No one can live without Wi-Fi, can they?" The teenager went into one of the rooms in the hall. He flipped a light switch and the room illuminated instantly.
Lime crouched down to reach under his bed. A light-brown box was in reach of his paws, he extended his arm to get the box. Dog it! The tips of his claws pushed the container farther away. He muttered a curse and laid on his belly to put his head under. This time, he used both paws to reach-and-grab it. Lime grabbed the box and pulled it out, he lifted his head with a bang! "Ow! Grr, stupid bed!" Pain exploded through the back of his head, Lime winced and slid his head out from under the bed with the box.
"Lime! What's taking so long?!" Sunny flapped her wings impatiently, anxious to see what the bear was up to.
"I got it, I'm coming out!"
The cat tilted her head, did something happen? She shrugged and placed down her bag, "Why do high school teachers give us so much homework? Homework is just simply a waste of time!"
Lime walked out with a card in one hand (the card was in the box) and was rubbing the back of his head with the other. "Here," He handed her the Wi-Fi password card and went back to the couch. The cream and white cat purred in amusement. "You're so stupid! Let me guess, you hit your head on a wall, didn't you now, Limey-bear?" She taunted playfully, flicking her tail. The neon bear snorted, "Bet you can't do any better if you were trying to reach a freaking box under a bed!" Lime patted at a spot on the couch, "Come and sit, it's soft."
Sunny went over and sat next to Lime on the downy couch, "Hey!" Lime yelped. Sunny stood up and looked at the place where she sat to see her friend's paw there, "Oops, Mi dispiace!" The bear moved his paw out of the way and muttered quietly to himself.
Sunny laughed and sat back down to look at the T.V.
After about an hour or so, banging was heard from the front door. Lime turned around to the sound. His ears perked straight up and his eyes widened, "Shoot!Sunny, get down!"
He pushed the winged cat down with a single powerful paw. She adjusted one of her flopping bunny ears.
"The flip-flop, Li-"
"Shhhh!" The lime-colored bear hissed, silencing her.
The door busted open and a lion, leopard, a buck, and a wolf stampeded into the house, "Lime!" The buck yelled, "Where the frick were you! You were supposed to be with us! And why do I smell cat?"
The lion and leopard cleared their throats, "I don't mean you two, Kasu and Machi." The deer said calmly to them. He turned back to Lime and quickly grabbed him by the throat "Where. Is. She?!" Lime let out a low, almost evilish chuckle. "Why do you need to know, Feroah?" Feroah's grey fur bristled underneath his jacket. "Kasu, Machi, Qhara, if you would please?" Kasu and Machi put a paw forward, letting their claws unsheathe and Qhara ran up to Lime with her ears flattened against her skull.
Feroah let go of Lime, letting him stumble to get balance, but instead Lime's eyes turned completely black with a white pupil. His fur turned a dark purple with his underbelly and muzzle turned grey.
Sunny stared in horror as she watched her friend's transformation, "L-Lime?! Is that you?!"
