Note: Code Geass is an anime, that was done by the studio Sunrise. This story is a follow-up, to the fanfics "Lelouch's Shy Classmate" and "An Awkward Attempt At A First Date".

Lelouch Lamperouge was Ashford Academy's most beloved and iconic student. Despite being the most talked about and popular student around, Lelouch's attention was directed towards the most mysterious and most hidden student, that the school had ever had, who was named C. C.

C. C. was a shy, quiet student, who had autism. Because of this, she tried to avoid talking to others. However, Lelouch gave C. C. the chances and patience, that no other student had given her. Lelouch felt sorry for her, so he went out of his way, to try to help her. As time went on, Lelouch's desire, to help C. C., was about more than him being a gentleman. He had fallen in love with her and she had developed similar feelings. C. C.'s autism often made things awkward and uncomfortable, but it wasn't enough, to stop the love, that was growing between her and Lelouch.

Ever since Lelouch and C. C. went on their first date, Lelouch thought things were getting better. He and C. C. regular hung out, during lunch and Study Hall. They occasionally went to stores and did a little shopping. Each night, Lelouch would call her and the two of them would have a long, loving talk. C. C. barely talked to anybody, aside from Lelouch. To her, he was the only person, that she could feel comfortable around.

One day, Lelouch walked into Ashford Academy. After grabbing his textbooks, he walked by C. C. and said, "Hi C. C."

C. C. spoke quietly, while replying, "Hi Lelouch. It's good to see you."

Lelouch replied, "When I see you, I feel like the happiest guy in the world." C. C., blushed. Lelouch asked, "How are things going?"

C. C. answered, "Things are going well. I wouldn't feel so great, if you weren't around."

Lelouch put his hand on C. C.'s shoulder, while saying, "I'm here for you, always." C. C. gave Lelouch a hug.

A teacher walked by and said, "You can't hug at school."

C. C. nervously replied, "I'm sorry."

Lelouch said, "It's okay, C. C."

C. C. replied, "It's okay. This is what I get, for trying to push my limits." Lelouch kissed C. C.'s cheek. C. C. said, "We can't hug or kiss, when we're at school."

Lelouch replied, "If I have to get a detention, for giving you the love you deserve, it couldn't be more worth it." C. C. smiled.

After school, Lelouch and C. C. met their fellow Student Council members, at the library. They were having a meeting, about how to get the library more attention. Lelouch looked at C. C., whose attention seemed to be elsewhere. He asked, "What's up?"

C. C. answered, "Being here reminds of the 1960s' Batman episode, where Batman and Robin fought the Bookworm. The Bookworm was played by Roddy McDowall, who voiced the Mad Hatter in Batman: The Animated Series, The New Batman Adventures, and a guest appearance, in Superman: The Animated Series."

Lelouch replied, "Wow, that's quite the trivia."

Milly Ashford looked at them and asked, "Can you guys start focusing on the meeting?"

Lelouch answered, "It's my fault."

C. C. shyly replied, "No, it's my fault."

Rivalz asked, "Something being your fault? How typical."

C. C. stood up and said, "Please excuse me, Lelouch. I need to powder my nose."

Rivalz sarcastically replied, "What a great use of time. You're such an important council member."

After C. C. walked away, Milly gave Rivalz a disapproving look, while saying, "You need to go easier on C. C., Rivalz."

Rivalz nervously replied, "I'm sorry, President Milly."

Milly looked at Lelouch and said, "Even though Rivalz was being a jerk about it, he does make a fair point. C. C.'s mind is easily distracted and when it comes to giving others attention, you're the only one she'll listen to."

Lelouch replied, "Hey, C. C.'s made a lot of progress, in the past few months." Lelouch put his hand on his heart, while saying, "I think I've been helping C. C., with a lot of things. She used to cover her face up and hide from everyone, but that's no longer the case."

Milly responded, "That's great and all, but C. C.'s still acts shy and hides from almost anyone, that isn't you."

Lelouch tried to think of a way, to argue with Milly's point. However, he was having a hard time, with finding a good argument. Although C. C. has been more talkative, she still had a lot of things, that she hadn't worked on. When she talked to people, who weren't Lelouch, she usually gave them generic greetings and goodbyes and when she said more words, they were in a quiet tone of voice. Lelouch felt ashamed of himself. He was so proud of himself, for making C. C. come out of her shell, that he failed to see, that she needed a lot more help. He looked back at Milly and said, "You made a better point, than I thought. It seems like C. C. will need a bit of help, which I will provide her with."

After the council meeting was over, Lelouch and C. C. walked out of the library. C. C. wanted to grab Lelouch's hand, but she felt nervous about it. Lelouch could tell what she wanted to, so he gently said, "You can grab my hand, at any time. I'm not going to mind. In fact, I'm going to enjoy it."

C. C. smiled and started holding Lelouch's hand, while saying, "Thank you."

Lelouch and C. C. walked outside. Lelouch looked back at her and asked, "Can I walk you home?"

C. C. looked a bit nervous, while saying, "That's okay, Lelouch. I think it'd be better, if I walked alone."

Lelouch had a friendly smile on his face, while replying, "Don't tell me, that you're becoming uneasy around me."

C. C. looked guilty, while saying, "I'm sorry, Lelouch. I don't know why I act like this and I wish I didn't."

Lelouch replied, "You don't need to feel bad, darling. If you let me walk you home, I'll let you hold my hand, for the entire walk."

C. C. responded, "Okay."

Lelouch and C. C. started walking to C. C.'s house. Lelouch brought up the few memories he had, of the 1966 Batman movie, in order to get C. C., to be more talkative. Lelouch's plan worked, as C. C. started jabbering on and quoting dozens of quotes, from the film. She described a lot of details, which Lelouch wouldn't have much investment in, if he didn't love C. C. so much.

After C. C. gave Lelouch a detailed explanation, of the 1966 Batman movie, the couple was almost at C. C.'s house. Lelouch said, "C. C., there's something, that I want to talk about."

C. C. asked, "What is it?"

Lelouch replied, "Because of your autism, you don't talk to too many people, aside from me. I love spending time with you. In fact, it's my favorite event and I plan on spending time with you, forever. However, it would probably be for the best, if you tried communicating with more people."

C. C. started feeling scared, while asking, "What do you mean?"

Lelouch answered, "You should try talking to other people, who can become your friends. Maybe you befriend some of our fellow students or something like that."

C. C. replied, "I don't think that'd be a good idea."

Lelouch said, "C. C., can I ask you a person question?"

C. C. answered, "You're the only person, who can ask me personal questions."

Lelouch asked, "Did you try to make friends, when you were a kid?"

C. C. answered, "Yes I did."

Lelouch asked, "What about it?"

C. C. pointed to her house door and said, "If I'm going to tell you, we should go inside."

Lelouch replied, "Okay." This was the first time, that Lelouch was entering C. C.'s house. He wished his first look, at the inside of C. C.'s house, was under more peaceful circumstances. C. C. was so shy, about being around strange places, that she had never set foot in Lelouch's house, even though he'd love that.

Lelouch looked around C. C.'s living room, which was decorated, with an ensemble of Batman merchandise, as well as an anime display, and a Tony Jay poster. Lelouch and C. C. sat on C. C.'s couch. Lelouch gently rubbed her hair, while saying, "You don't need to rush this story, my dear. I want you to tell me the truth and not rush to end, out of fear. Can you do that for me, C. C.?"

C. C. nervously gulped and tried to ignore her fear, while saying, "I suppose I can. However, this isn't going to be a very glamorous story."

Lelouch replied, "That's perfectly fine."

C. C. thought back to a time, where she was ten. Halloween was coming up, so C. C.'s mom wanted to talk to her, about the upcoming holiday. C. C. paused the third episode, of the 1960s' Batman show, and looked at her mom. C. C.'s mom asked, "What do you want to be, for Halloween?"

C. C. nervously said, "I don't know."

C. C.'s mom replied, "You can be anything, that you want to be."

C. C. asked, "Are you sure about that?"

C. C.'s mom answered, "As long as it's not based on a R-rated film, yes."

C. C. jokingly said, "Then you better not see my film collection."

C. C.'s dad walked by and asked, "What?"

C. C. kept her head down, while saying, "I'm sorry. I was just trying to make a joke, which didn't land."

C. C.'s mom looked back at her daughter and said, "So, what do you want to be?"

A fangirl smile came upon C. C.'s face, while saying, "Batman."

C. C.'s dad raised an eyebrow and asked, "Really?" C. C. nodded. C. C.'s parents both thought it was a little strange, due to C. C. being the opposite gender. However, C. C.'s mom thought that C. C. celebrating Halloween and going around the city would be a good way, for her to meet other kids and make some friends.

A week later, it was Halloween. C. C. came into the living, in a Batman costume, that was blue and gray. C. C.'s mom took a picture of her, which made her feel shy. The mom said, "You look great."

C. C. replied, "Thank you."

C. C.'s dad said, "Since we got you the costume you wanted, we're hoping you do us a favor."

C. C. asked, "What is it?"

C. C.'s mom answered, "While you're going around and collecting candy, we want you to greet some of the kids. If you only make some smalltalk, that's fine, but if you make a new friend, our father and I would be so proud of you."

C. C. gulped and replied, "I'll try."

C. C. left the house and started going to a few houses, to get candy. Her candy bowl had the bat symbol on it. Although C. C. was dressed as Batman, it was easy to know her real gender, because her hair stuck out. A few kids were confused, to see a female Batman.

A few minutes later, C. C. was walking on a street, while seeing a boy, who was dressed as the Joker. Since this boy seemed to have similar interests, C. C. thought that boy should be the first one, that she talks to. She waved to him and said, "Hi."

The boy, who was dressed like the Joker, had an amused look on his face, while saying, "I'm supposed to make the jokes, but you seem like quite the joke. A girl, who's dressed as Batman? Did you forget your own gender or something?"

C. C. nervously said, "No, I'm just a big fan."

The boy replied, "I understand, Batwoman. You've faced the fact, that your precious Batman isn't here, so you dress-up, as your crush."

C. C. looked embarrassed, while responding, "I'm not in love with Batman. He just inspires me. He's a role-model."

The boy looked unconvinced, while saying, "Sure he is."

The boy's friends, who were dressed as Penguin and Riddler, walked by. The Penguin boy asked, "What's going on?"

The Joker boy pointed to C. C., while saying, "Batman's pathetic fangirl has reared her ugly riddle."

The Penguin boy asked, "A female Batman? What's that about?"

The Riddler boy said, "That's one riddle, that the Riddler doesn't want to solve." The three boys pointed at C. C. and laughed. They made a bunch of immature, while C. C. started walking, while having tears come down her eyes.

A few minutes, C. C. came home. C. C.'s parents were surprised, because C. C. had only been collecting candy, for twenty minutes. C. C.'s mom had a concerned look on her face, while asking, "How did things go?"

C. C. tried to hide her tears, while saying, "I don't wanna talk about it."

C. C.'s dad asked, "Did you get lots of candy?" C. C. said nothing, while throwing her candy away and going into her room.

After C. C. finished telling the story, Lelouch said, "I'm really sorry, that you had to deal with that, but those boys were just some bullies. Besides, they were kids, so they were acting stupid and weren't paying attention, to what they were saying."

A tear rolled down C. C.'s eye, while saying, "That was the first and only time, that I went around houses and collected candy."

Lelouch put his arm around C. C. and replied, "It's okay, darling. Was there ever a second time, where you tried to make friends?"

C. C. had a gloomy look on her face, while saying, "Yes there was, but I'd rather not discuss it."

Lelouch replied, "You don't need to be afraid, my dear. There's lots of people, who unfairly judge and mock people, but I'm not going to do that. You're the person, that I love and respect most."

C. C. gave Lelouch a passionate hug, while saying, "I feel the same way about you, Lelouch."

Lelouch replied, "Please tell me, about the other time, where you tried to make friends."

C. C. sighed and responded, "Okay then."

C. C. thought back to a time, where was fourteen and was in her last year of middle-school. There was a girl, with brown hair, who C. C. had a few small chats with. C. C. didn't necessarily see her as a friend, but she did feel a bit of comfort and cheerfulness, when they talked. However, that happiness crumbled, during one of her last days, at her middle school.

The brown-haired girl saw C. C. spending a few minutes, at writing something, but she didn't know what C. C. was writing about. Because of that, she asked, "What are you drawing?"

C. C. said, "I'm writing a list of favorite characters, from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic."

The brown-haired girl asked, "Are you for real?"

C. C. said, "I'm trying to rank the ponies, by how relatable they are and how much they've inspired me."

The brown-haired girl asked, "Are you stupid or something? How could you relate to a pony? You're a human, you dimwit."

C. C. nervously replied, "I know, but the ponies have personalities, that are similar to my own."

The brown-haired girl looked at a few of her friends, while pointing at C. C. and saying, "This loser thinks ponies are the most realistic, amazing thing ever. Apparently, she thinks she's a pony. She's such a nerd, for liking such kiddie crap."

C. C. had a few tears come down her eyes, while the brown-haired girl and her friends referred to her, by a bunch of offensive terms. They said their rude words, in a quiet tone, so the teacher wouldn't notice. However, the teacher noticed C. C. was crying, so he asked, "Why are you crying?"

C. C. was too embarrassed, to admit the truth, so she said, "I was just thinking of a joke, that was so happy, that I was crying happy tears."

The teacher replied, "Act your age, especially during class."

C. C. tried to hide her tears, while responding, "Okay."

A few days, after that dramatic experience, C. C. was lounging around her living room, while her mom was in the kitchen. A talk-show came on and the guest wanted to talk to about comic books.

The talk-show looked at his guest and said, "Comic books have become so much bigger, than they used to be, haven't they?"

The guest, named Victor, who was fellow talk-show host, who didn't know about comic books, but he strong opinions about them. Victor said, "I've noticed how much people, including teenagers and adults, get inspired by comic books and it's sad, downright pathetic." A sad look came upon C. C.'s face.

Victor said, "These childish simpletons, who refuse to grow up, act like comic books have these deep, meaningful things to say. I've read some of that crap and it's just a bunch of people, who dress in lame costumes and fight crime. Our society would be more dignified and smarter, if these people didn't exist."

C. C. started heading to her room. C. C.'s mom said, "Dinner's almost ready."

C. C. had a tear coming down her cheek, while saying, "I'm not hungry."

The mom asked, "What? You haven't eaten anything, in several hours."

C. C. used her hand, to cover her tears, while saying, "I just don't wanna eat." She went into her bedroom. She picked up a Batman toy and asked, "Am I childish idiot, for being a fan of you? Am I wasting my life, by being a fan of you?" C. C. hugged the toy, while laying on the floor and crying, for several minutes.

After C. C. finished telling the story, Lelouch hugged her, while saying, "I understand why you avoided friendship, I really do. However, all of those people were jerks, who didn't understand how wonderful you are."

C. C. replied, "I'm not wonderful."

Lelouch said, "You're the most beautiful woman I know, both on the inside and outside." He and C. C. shared a kiss.

C. C. replied, "I'm afraid, that more of that uncomfortable crap will happen, if I try to make another friend."

Lelouch put his hand on C. C.'s shoulder, "Then I'm going to introduce you, to people I know and trust." A light smile came upon C. C.'s house.

The next day was a Saturday, so Lelouch had plenty of time, to help C. C. out. He visited C. C.'s house and brought Milly with him, so C. C. could make a new friend. After Lelouch chatted with C. C., Milly walked up to her and said, "I'm sorry if I've been a little intrusive and nosy, in the past. Being the Student Council's President, I try very hard, to learn everything about my fellow students, so I can give them the best possible time."

C. C. replied, "I see. I should apologize, because I thought you were just a gossip lover."

Milly responded, "Well, I do love gossip, especially when I find Lelouch's secrets, so I can exploit his embarrassment."

Lelouch looked embarrassed, while saying, "Milly, don't say that kind of stuff."

C. C. and Milly chatted. C. C. talked about various Batman facts, which Milly pretended to care about. Milly talked about her own interests and revealed a few embarrassing stories, that were about Lelouch. Lelouch joked about being offended, but he wasn't. He was glad to see C. C. smile and laugh with someone, even though they were chuckling about the time, that Lelouch accidentally wore a garbage can. That moment happened, because on a dark morning, he couldn't tell the difference, between his school uniform and the garbage can.

After C. C. and Milly talked, for an hour, Lelouch walked to Milly and said, "Thank you, for talking to C. C."

Milly replied, "No problem. It was rather fun."

Lelouch asked, "Is there of our other friends, that are nearby?"

Milly said, "Shirley's at the swimming pool, that's a few blocks away."

Lelouch replied, "That sounds perfect."

After saying goodbye to Milly, Lelouch walked back to C. C. C. C. asked, "What's going on?"

Lelouch answered, "I'm taking you, to the swimming pool."

C. C. replied, "I'm not really a fan, of swimming."

Lelouch calmly responded, "Everything's going to be fine."

Several minutes later, C. C. reluctantly changed into a white swimsuit. She was never a fan of swimming, because she didn't think it was very productive or interesting. Also, she was embarrassed to be seen in a swimsuit, because she thought swimsuits were too revealing.

C. C. stepped into the pool, while feeling lost. Shirley Fenette swam by C. C. and said, "Hi there. Milly told me you were coming. It's good to see you."

Lelouch replied, "Shirley, can you hangout with C. C., for a little while?"

Shirley responded, "Sure."

Lelouch looked at C. C. and said, "Suzaku's here, so I'm going to chat with him."

C. C. replied, "Okay."

Lelouch said, "By the way, you look amazing."

C. C. replied, "That's the last thing I want to hear, when I'm only wearing a swimsuit!"

Lelouch nervously smiled and responded, "Sorry about that."

C. C. and Shirley swam around, while chatting. Shirley looked at C. C., while saying, "I've been wanting to talk to you and know more about you, but I know about your autism, so I wanted to respect your privacy."

C. C. replied, "I respect that."

Shirley said, "I heard you've been bullied. I've also been bullied."

C. C. looked surprised, while asking, "Really?"

Shirley answered, "Yes, I can act fragile and shy, which other students made fun of. I've been called dozens of insulting terms."

C. C. replied, "I used to feel like the only Ashford Academy student, who was hated and ignored."

Shirley responded, "You're not alone. Your friends are here for you." C. C. smiled.

After C. C. finished talking to Shirley, she got on her regular clothes and started walking home, while holding hands with Lelouch. C. C. looked at Lelouch and said, "Thank you, for helping me make a few friends."

Lelouch replied, "You're welcome and as time goes on, you're going to make more friends."

C. C. thought about how much Lelouch did for her. He was such a good boyfriend, that she felt guilty. She sighed and said, "I'm a terrible girlfriend, aren't I? You always rush to my rescue and help me out and in return, I don't do anything for you."

Lelouch said, "C. C., you done so much for me."

C. C. asked, "Like what?"

Lelouch said, "You make me the happiest person, in the entire country, when we're together."

C. C. replied, "That's impossible."

Lelouch smiled and said, "Then the impossible has happened. Meeting you and making you come out of your shell, has been some of the best times of my life. I don't care what drama or pain's going to come in the future, as long as you're in my life."

C. C. smiled back and replied, "I feel the same way. I want to be with you, forever."

Lelouch responded, "I couldn't ask, for a better future." Lelouch put a Batman cape, around C. C.'s shoulders and said, "You're a more believable Batman, than half of the actors, who've been playing him." C. C. cried happy tears and kissed Lelouch. C. C. knew her future was going to be bright, because Lelouch was always going to be a part of her life.
