Well, this is my first publish and I know I'm not that good... I've written a couple stories I thought could go a good way, but never completed them, and they're not based on KH/DF/FF characters.. ^.^;

Umm... Also, I'd like to warn you that my grammar still needs work, so please don't be too harsh on me. I would love some critism to see if I should finish or not or change something and whatnot, so yeah. :3

And I've been through a bit emotion crud lately, so I'm also sorry if it's too... sad? emo? depressing?

She carried her structure high as she quickly paced through the battlefield. This has happened so many times she can't remember what happened before this, but she enjoyed it. Being with her friends fighting for the good of the team was fun. No regrets. None.

"Hey Rinoa, you okay?" A small kid-like yet developed voice said softly. She appeared with a smile on her face that seemed normal and comforting inside.

The women stopped for a second and stared out at the view. It was a volcano and a lake of lava before she froze it so the group could walk over it. Somehow it was mesmerizing to her, but no one else. She enjoyed going places within the world and enjoyed meeting new people, even if a man long ago stole her heart. Literally.

She looked back at the girl. She had luscious blonde hair in a ponytail and some was in braids. Rinoa often thought this girl dressed too little but then what would she say about her own choice of an outfit. Rikku had been with her for a long time, actually ever since Rinoa had her heart stolen because Rikku has the same thing happen to her. She sighed as she remembered memories she'd rather have forgotten.

Rikku took a couple steps towards Rinoa in a bit of a haste, "Rinoa! Snap out of it!" She slapped Rinoa straight across the face. Rinoa had these moments at times and all Rikku could do was get her to snap out of it.

Rinoa looked over at her friend with a straight expression. The red hand print still there on her left cheek, bright as daylight. They both stood there staring right at each other not making a sound but they could read each other's expressions fairly well.

Rinoa sighed and turned with her back to Rikku, "I guess with me and my memory, we won't go very far, won't we?" She turned back to Rikku and smiled a nice big smile. They both knew it was fake but blew it off because Rinoa was trying.

"Hey you two! We found a cave over here!" A voice yelled from a good distance.

Both Rinoa and Rikku turned to the voice and muttered at the same time, "Kairi. They found something?"

Rikku smiled and covered her hands over her mouth and screamed, "We'll be there in a bit! Hang on!" then looked back at Rinoa who was fiddling with her ring on a necklace and smiled, "C'mon. They need us." Rinoa looked up and followed Rikku over to the group of their fellow freedom fighters and close friends.
