"Giga Blaster!" MetalGreymon shouted, firing two missiles at Etemon.

"Nooooo!" The blast soon transformed into a black hole.

"You must not defeat me. I'm too important to dieeeee..." Those were Etemon's last words before he was sucked into the black hole.

Tai was beginning to be sucked into the black hole as well along with MetalGreymon, who held him down with his metal claw.

"Don't let go of me, MetalGreymon!" Tai ordered.

It was to no avail, he and MetalGreymon were sucked into the black hole.

"Tai!" The other Digidestined shouted.

"What happened to them?" T.K asked.

"Come back!" Sora yelled.

(Unknown location)

"Oh..."

"Where am I?" Tai asked, after waking up.

"Who are all these people?"

"Koromon. I-I'm home." Tai said.

"What happened?" Koromon asked.

"We must've been pulled through a dimensional rift between the Digital World and this one. Wherever this world is. I bet that opening is the way I got to the Digital World, but where are we now? They look like human beings. This looks like Earth, but is it really?"

"I have no idea. I've never been here before." Koromon said.

"This can't be. I think we're in my hometown." Tai said.

"Tai, I don't mean to cut the sightseeing short. But have you noticed I'm no longer MetalGreymon."

Tai didn't hear a word Koromon said, as his attention was focused on a battle involving two strange creatures.

"Magmortar, Flamethrower."

"Mag." Magmortar said, releasing a stream of fire from it's cannon arm.

"Are those Digimon, Koromon?" Tai asked.

"No, I've never seen them before."

"Glalie, dodge and strike back with Shadow Ball."

"Gla." Glalie fired a ball of purple energy from it's mouth.

"Quick, Flamethrower one more time." The Flamethrower and Shadow Ball collided and Magmortar and Glalie were both knocked out.

"Return!" Both trainers recalled their Pokemon.

"That was a well-fought battle. Your Glalie is great."

"Thanks, your Magmortar is really strong."

"Hey! Do you two know where we are?" Tai asked.

"Seriously kid, this is the Kanto Region."

"Kanto?" Tai asked, confused.

"It's the home of the legendary Ash Ketchum."

"Wait a minute. This isn't my hometown, I'm in another world. Unbelievable, this can't be real."

"Hello. Is anyone home."

"Ah, right would there be any chance for me to see this Ash Ketchum."

"Seriously kid, you and that pink don't stand a chance against him or his Pokemon."

"Who are you calling a pink thing!" Koromon yelled.

"Whoa! It can talk."

"Hey, do you want to trade." After hearing that, Tai and Koromon ran away from the two boys. They hide in a bush as the two boys ran past them.

After emerging from the bush, a trainer walked up to them.

"Hey get away from Koromon, redhead."

The girl wasn't happy with his statement, and brought out a melon that hit him on the head.

"Cut it out, you creep. I just heard you want information on Ash Ketchum!"

"Sorry there. I would like to know where he lives."

"Very well, that road will lead you to Pallet Town." The girl said.

Tai thanked her, then he and Koromon followed her directions and eventually saw a house in the distance.

"Is this the right place, Tai." Koromon asked.

"I guess so." Tai said.

A young woman was working in a garden alongside a Pokemon in front of the house.

"Excuse me, miss. Is this Ash Ketchum's house."

"Yes, he's my son. Why?"

Tai explained that he needed to talk with him. Then the front door opened.

"It's okay, mom. I heard everything." Ash invited Tai inside and he tried his mother's food.

"Are you Ash Ketchum?" Tai asked.

"Yes, I am. What's your name."

"I'm Tai Kamiya. Listen, I know this sounds crazy, but."

"You're not from here." Ash said.

"Yeah I'm not from Kanto, I just got here and..."

"No, I mean you aren't from my world."

"How do you know that?"

"I saw you and your partner emerge from that light while I was walking through the crowd."

"No way, you know I'm a Digimon."

"Digi-what."

"Yeah, that's what Koromon is. I heard you have Pokemon." Tai said.

Ash nodded and whistled. Then, a small yellow mouse came over to him.

"This is Pikachu, Tai and Koromon."

"Pika." Pikachu said.

"Hi there, Pikachu."

"This is your strongest Pokemon." Tai began laughing.

Pikachu heard him laughing and wasn't too happy.

"Pika chuu." Tai was zapped by Thunderbolt.

"You shouldn't laugh at Pikachu."

Ash invited himself inside to try his mother's food.

'Wow, I've never seen someone this hungry. Something tells me he hasn't eaten in a while.'

"Pika." Pikachu said.

Once they finished eating, Ash asked Tai a few questions.

"Okay Tai, I may have invited you in, but I want some answers. How did you arrive in my world and I want the truth." Tai realized Ash may be kind, but he doesn't fully trust him.

"Okay, I'm from another world and part of a group known as the Digidestined." He showed Ash his digivice and realized Tai was telling the truth.

"I apologize Tai, but I have a hard time trusting people who are hiding something."

Tai continued explaining about his adventures and finished with how he and Koromon ended up here.

"So, your partner is a creature known as a Digimon from another world." Ash was amazed with Tai's story.

"Yeah, Ash and it's great to know about your world as well. Now, if you'll excuse me I'll rest on the couch for a minute." Tai said, resting on his couch.

Ash, Pikachu and Koromon sweat-dropped.

"Unbelievable weather conditions have experts baffled. There's still no rainfall in Johto and a tower is heating up as a result of drought."

Tai and Ash saw Meramon and Seadramon in Hoenn, and Frigimon was in Sinnoh.

"What are they doing here, would someone please tell me what's going on here? The Digimon are clearly on the TV screen, but the reporter hasn't mentioned them."

"Because, they're invisible to the naked eye." Ash said.

"Huh? Are you saying you can see them, Ash!" Tai said, shocked.

"Yes Tai, after I became a Pokemon master and returned home, I started having weird dreams telling me something is going to happen in the future. I then heard a voice say to me. "Ash, you must save both worlds from a coming darkness." Then I saw a device that was identical to your digivice, but it was a different model with a big "M" and the voice also told me I'll be meeting new friends." Ash said.

Tai thought about what Ash's dreams were trying to tell him, then heard his digivice.

"My Digivice activated by itself." Tai said.

"Pika pi."

Ash and Tai saw a kid on the computer screen.

"Can you hear me? We - - danger."

"Izzy!"

"They know it isn't - - Tai, wherever you are, don't come back here."

"I can't just leave you guys there, Izzy. I have to come back, I could be your only chance."

"Digimonsters - - total chaos."

"Izzy! Izzy!"

"While we're safe in Ash's world, my friends are in trouble." Tai said.

"What now?"

"I don't know Koromon, I just don't know. Three worlds are in danger, and I can't do anything about it."

Ash and Pikachu walked over to him, and then Ash placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Tai, we're gonna find a way to the digital world!"

"Ash, you can't it'll be suicide to let you and Pikachu come with me and Koromon." Tai protested.

"Tai, Izzy's message is in my dreams as well as a warning about something happening to both our worlds. I'm convinced that light chose me for a important reason and I'm not going to let my friends or family die." Tai understood what he meant and smiled.

"Then let's do this, Ash."

"Count me in." Koromon said.

"Pika." Pikachu said.

Then they heard a sound coming from outside the house. The two went outside and saw a Digimon that appeared out of nowhere.

"Oh no! Tyrannomon!"

"It seems you know everything about them." Ash said.

Tyrannomon shot a fireball at a building.

"Not good, Tai."

Tai ran to stop Tyrannomon, just as Ash pulled out a Poke Ball.

"My mind is made up." Ash decided, before running towards Tyrannomon. But as soon as they got there, Tyrannomon disappeared.

"Ash, we've got to find a way to the digital world together!"

Ash nodded.

"Then, let's go!"

Then they saw Drimogemon come out of nowhere and followed him, but he too disappeared.

"No way! Maybe this is a dream." Tai said.

Ash shot a glare at him. "You idiot. If this was a dream, we wouldn't see people getting hurt."

"Pika." Pikachu said.

The four saw a ogre Digimon walking through the street.

"Ogremon!"

Tai brought out his digivice.

"Koromon digivolve to...Agumon!"

This was the first time Ash witnessed a digivolution and he was amazed. Then, the dimensional rift opened.

"Hurry, Agumon!" Tai shouted.

"Greninja, help Agumon. You too, Pikachu."

Greninja and Pikachu help Agumon fight back, but Ogremon wasn't giving up.

"I guess we need more power." Ash said.

Then, Tai saw him and Greninja glow.

Greninja's new form was nearly identical to Ash.

"Ash Greninja, Water Shuriken! Pikachu, Thunderbolt!" Ash ordered.

The two attacks merged with Agumon's Pepper Breath and knocked Ogremon out.

"Ash your Greninja is amazing!"

Ash smiled. Then a light similar to the one Tai and his friends received at summer camp land in Ash's hand. It was the digivice Ash saw in his dream.

"Ash, that's the digivice from your dream." Tai said.

"Let's do this, Tai."

"I don't know Ash, what if I fail them." Tai said.

Ash then smiled. "Nonsense Tai, don't give up till the end."

This inspired Tai and the two's adventure began.
