Chance Harbors finest are hanging out at the Pier diner. Adam is waitressing as usual. So, the girls are congregating in their usual booth. Well sort of, anyway.
"Cassie, why are you such a dill-hole?" Faye asked, frowning at the blonde. "Why are you such a dick, Faye?" Cassie asked, ignoring Faye's question. The two glared daggers at each other from across the small table.
"Cassie!" Diana said, scolding her sister. The usually calm brunette neglected the long island iced tea she was sipping, to avoid choking from the vulgar outburst. Cassie and Faye had been throwing spades at each other all day long.
"What? She started it!" Cassie snapped, looking to her sister for support. She had reached her boiling point, again, when it came to the slick mouthed Faye.
"Really, though?" Diana asked, looking unmoved.
Cassie looked relatively stupid and dropped her gaze to her watermelon vodka mix drink, which she quickly finished. She actually enjoyed the bitter bite of the light green fluid.
"Princess," Faye scuffed, smirking triumphantly. Cassie growled and moved to throw her drink at the brunette; even it was only wet ice now. But, Diana kicked her beneath the table.
"Owe!" Cassie blurted, resisting the urge to pout. Faye had that down to the science. And, no way she wanted to be anything like the bitch.
"You're both acting like children," Faye said, staring hard at Faye. Her green eye lit and slitted with promise to put Faye out of her misery if she didn't stop teasing the blonde.
"..." Faye calmed down, settling for a good pout, as she crossed her arms over her chest. She didn't even look at Cassie now.
Melissa just watched the scene unfold. No way, she wanted to get in between the two hot headed witches. Everyone who tried always got burned. But, not Diana, she seemed to be the only flame resistant one between the two. Must be a Blackwell thing.
"I'm bored," Melissa blurted, as she finished her gin and tonic. Faye and Cassie looked at Melissa, clueless. Diana looked kind of tense, knowing exactly what Melissa meant.
"You two need to get a room," Melissa said, turning a slightly sympathetic eye to Diana for a beat.
"Excuse me?" Cassie asked, looking stunned. Faye made an indignant sound and looked at her bestfriend as if she grew a second head.
Diana took a healthy sip of her drink, before Cassie's burning gaze turned to her direction.
"A fucking room, really Melissa," Faye said, looking kind of shocked. Though her words came out smooth and calculated.
"Yes, a fucking room- you know exercises those demons," Melissa said, arching a brow with a twisted smirk. Faye smacked her teeth and casually regarded the now blushing blonde.
Diana really drank her tea and damn choked on the ice.
Cassie scuffed, "Yeah fucking right- I'm going to smash Faye because I can't stand her ass!"
"Yep and vice versa- it's only fair," Melissa said, getting up and out of the booth. Diana quickly followed suit. But Cassie snatched her wrist as she moved out of the tight space.
"Really, though?" Cassie said, with a please-don't-leave-me-with-this-psycho look.
"Um," Diana said, at a loss for word. This was awkward for her; now she knew how Snow felt when it came to Emma on her favorite show Once Upon a Time.
"Now, now," Melissa said, plucking Diana's limb from the blonde. "There will be plenty of time for that aggression," She added, winking at Faye.
Melissa took Diana and breezed out the door. Both disappearing as the door swung closed behind them.
A/N: Oh, damn, cliff hanger. Sorry, no not really. I'm feeling particularly cruel right now. Death in my family right now, needs to blow off major steam.
