REWRITING UNDER PROGRESS
This was an old story. Am taking it down to undergo a complete overhauling, since I am no longer satisfied with it. Those who have faved it in the past, thank you. Refer below to see if it is still to your liking.

"Sonic! You're here!" The pink limpet, otherwise known as Amy Rose, immediately latches onto her hero, and Shadow can almost swear that her eyes are sparkling.
As the blue hedgehog tries to find a way to detach himself from Amy without incurring a headache courtesy of a Piko-Piko Hammer (Tails is sniggering in the background all the while), a quiet voice brings his attention down to his side.
"...Hi, Mr Shadow." Cream is clearly intimidated by him, but stands her ground with Cheese floating by her side. "Thank you so much for coming- Ms Rouge said you weren't sure if you could make it."
Shadow is fairly certain his reply to Rouge when asked had been a flat 'no'. He meets her amused teal eyes, and silently demands an explanation.
Her wings shrug slightly upwards, and a sideways flicker of her eyes tells him that she knew that Sonic would convince him otherwise. He barely remembers not to make a rude gesture in her direction, to avoid alarming Cream, and his landlord knows it- she smirks at him, the curve of her lips saying live with it.
