Nyancy Chan smiled at the barren streets of Bellwood. *The streets usually aren't barren* she thought. She saw the dark sky and grinned.
*Darkness will enable me to conquer Bellwood.* Nyancy viewed her cats as they stood near her legs. ''Let's conquer Bellwood,'' she said to them.
The cats meowed at the same time. They followed Nyancy down the street.
Nyancy viewed one of the cats approaching a store window. She heard the animal as it purred. Curious, she tilted her head to one side.
Nyancy saw many cat toys with collars. Her eyes became wide behind her glasses. Her grin returned at a snail's pace.
Nyancy turned her head after another cat purred. She saw a different pet store. Her grin came back the minute she viewed other cat toys.
''Let's wander the streets of Bellwood, my pets. Maybe we'll be able to find additional pet stores. There are many hours before the sun appears. Our enemies are probably resting now. They won't defeat us. We can return to the pet shops later.''
Nyancy and her cats roamed for hours. They never found additional pet stores.
Nyancy returned to one of the pet shops. ''Maybe I'll steal a fancy cat collar,'' she muttered. She heard footsteps before her eyes widened again. Her arms were placed behind her back. The villain glanced over her shoulder. She gasped after she saw Ben and Rook.
''Nyancy Chan, you are under arrest for attempting to steal,'' Rook said as he frowned.
''How did you find me?'' Nyancy asked. Her eyes became bigger after she saw the sun.
