As Scott Summers sat at the piano in the parlor if the Xavier Instituted like he did everyday he began to play the one song he could never forget no matter how hard he tried. Jean Grey walked out of the Infirmary and ran into Logan. "Have you seen Scott" she asked. " He's probably in the parlor like always playing that song." came Logan's reply. You see no one know why but Scott always played only one song on that old piano he had begged Professor X to get (when he had first came) at the same time everyday which was about 8-8:30 every night. Not even the Professor himself. What no one knows is that when Scott plays that same song on the piano he remembers someone. Someone he missed dearly.
-"Scotty come play with me" said a little girl about 4 years old. "Ok Rogue" said a 10 year old Scott. Scott could see him and his sister playing in the yard having fun. "Rogue why aren't you in bed" Scott asked when he saw Rogue come into his room later that night. " I can't sleep. Can you play my lullaby please?" asked Rouge. "Sure Rogue come on." Scott said as he picked up Rogue and went down to the living room were the piano was kept. He gently laid Rogue on the conch pushing her hair back and kissed her forehead then sat at the piano bench. As he began his parents came in to listen to their son play like every night." -
As Scott remembered this he began to cry but didn't stop playing. That was the last time he ever play his sister's lullaby for her. Since he was taken to the Xavier Instituted the next day for his mutant abilities. He didn't even get to say good bye. That was 15 years ago. His baby sister, his little Rogue would be 19 now. As Scott was playing Professor X rolled into the parlor. He knew that song was important to Scott but he like everyone else in the Instituted but Scott didn't know why. He remembered when Scott was 15 and his parents house burnt down. For 3 days he did nothing but play that piano shedding a years every now and then and no one for the life of them could figure out why. But all learned early on to never ask Scott why he played that song as all you got was a response of "It's none of your business". Even new recruits were told never to ask by the older ones.
Finally after 10 minutes of playing Scott's barriers broke. For the first time since his parents house burnt down, since he lost his family, and since he saw his little sister his little Rogue he had cried. Professor X rolled up to him and hugged him as he cried. "Scott I have some one in my office who wants to see you." the Professor asked gently not really knowing why the person sitting in his office wanted to see Scott. " Who" Scott asked as he wiped away the rest of his tears. " Go see" was all Professor X could say since he really didn't know who she was. Only knowing she had come and asking to see him then asked him to bring Scott Summers to the office. As Scott walked into the Professor's office wondering who could want to see him he was attacked into a hug. The person who was hugging him had shouted "Scotty" while crying. He immediately knew who it was. It was his baby sister, his little Rogue.

okay I hope you all like it. Oh the declaimer: I don't own X-Men or the lullaby. Oh and the lullaby Scott was playing is Bella's Lullaby from Twilight. R&R
