Title: here

Summary: Kakashi has no reason to be here. [A very drunk] Tenzo gives him one. (TenKaka)

.

Kakashi's never really been a party person. He's one of the most socially awkward people on the planet and it's not like anybody really likes him aside from a select few people.

He fidgets a little, shifting his weight from one foot to the other, his discomfort obvious to anybody paying attention to the secluded corner he's in. Of course, nobody is.

To be honest, he has no idea why he's still here. Maybe it's out of obligation, since this is a party to celebrate the fact that the world hasn't ended. Maybe it's because his three students are here, and hell, even Sasuke looks like he might be enjoying himself, if only a little.

Kakashi has an internal debate about whether he should just flee and go home and hide under his blanket.

He's about to do just that when Tenzo stumbles over, face flushed and the first thing that comes out of Kakashi's mouth is "Are you drunk?"

"Nah," Tenzo replies, smiling stupidly. "Just a little tipsy."

"If this is your 'just a little tipsy', Tenzo, I'd take pictures of your 'drunk' and blackmail you with them."

"Senpai," Tenzo complains, throwing himself onto Kakashi much to the latter's discomfort. "You're ssso meaaaan."

"Tenzo, you're ssso druuuuunnkkk," Kakashi retorts, mimicking Tenzo's slurred tone and gently pushing Tenzo off of him. Or he tries to, at any rate, since Tenzo's hold around his neck and shoulders is pretty tight.

"Stop copying me," Tenzo mumbles. "I'm not drunk." Tenzo's front pressed against Kakashi's back and face nuzzling into his neck says otherwise.

"Tenzo, I'm bringing you back home," Kakashi sighs. "You're drunk. If you're 'tipsy' enough to act affectionate, then you're drunk."

"Nooo," Tenzo whines. "Wanna stay."

"Well I want to go home but I don't trust these idiots with you," Kakashi huffs.

"Stay," Tenzo implores. "Senpai why aren't you having fuunn? Took me forever to find you…"

Despite himself, Kakashi's heart feels warm. "You… were looking for me?" he asks, a little incredulously.

"'Course," Tenzo murmurs, pulling a little tighter.

"Tenzo, you're going to choke me if you do that one more time," Kakashi warns, more exasperated than irritated, and his traitorous heart is beating faster.

"Sorry," comes the reply, but Tenzo doesn't release his hold at all.

Kakashi finds that he doesn't really mind. And hey, if he's blushing, he can blame it on the liquor, never mind the fact that he didn't drink any at all.
