AN:This is my view on Reading the Books. Overused, but, oh well. Read and Review!

Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter

Ginny ran into the Burrow. "Mum! Where are Ron and Hermione?"

Mrs. Weasley was in the kitchen, making lunch. Without looking at her she said, "They're in the backyard with Bill. I believe that they are trying to escape the press. By the way, where is Harry?"

"He had some business to do." And she hurried into the backyard. "Ron! Hermione! I need to talk to you. Now!"

Ron and Hermione ran to greet Ginny. "Hi. Aren't you supposed to be in Grimmauld Place for the weekend? And where is Harry?"

The only Weasley daughter bit her lip. "I don't know. When I woke up this morning, he was gone. But he left me this note."

Ginny,

I need you, Ron and Hermione to get a Time Turner. Then go to the Room of Requirement. Hermione, I know what could go wrong, but I found a spell to fix that.

Harry.

"What does that mean?" Ginny demanded of Hermione.

"I think… I think he means to go back in time and see his parents. He mentioned it right after Voldemort was defeated"

They stared. "But doesn't Harry know how dangerous that is?"

"I think that's what he meant by the last bit, Ron. He's not an idiot. We all survived the last year, didn't we? If he thinks that this will work, I trust his judgment."

"Fine," Ron conceded. "But how in the world are we supposed to get a time turner. Didn't we destroy them all in fifth year?"

Hermione fidgeted. Ginny raised her eyebrows. "Do you have one Hermione?"

"Well… you know in third year, the time turner that McGonagall gave me."

"But you gave that back and the end of the year."

"No. Actually I didn't. With Harry getting in trouble at the end of each year, I thought it would be safe to keep it. It got damaged in the battle at the Ministry. I didn't have the power to restore it until a month ago. With a wave of her wand, Hermione conjured the Time Turner. Ron and Ginny stared. Hermione was a stickler for the rules. At least she wouldn't be sent to Azkaban. After the Battle, the new Ministry had excused them from all the laws they had broken while on the horcrux hunt.

"Well?" She snapped, "Are we going to Hogwarts or not?"

"Ummm… I guess we are," stuttered Ginny. "How are we getting there?"

"I thought Hog's Head. I really don't want to be recognized. I'm pretty sure that's how Harry got into the Room of Requirement." Everyone agreed with that. It was barely a month since Voldemort had been murdered and Harry, Ron, and Hermione had found themselves with a lot of fame. Even Harry, who had been famous before found all the attention he was getting over his head. They had hidden in the Burrow or Grimmauld Place for the past week; they could barely do anything with all the people staring at them. It was finally starting to die down. Well, they had to go to Hog's Head.

"Come on. I made an Invisibility Cloak. It has a Charm on it. Let's go." With another flick of her wand a brown cloak appeared. "I know it isn't as good as Harry's cloak but it's the best we have. She tossed it over the three of them. Ginny, I read you to grab my hand since you can't Apparate yet." They all felt the cold rush as they sped off to Hog's Head.

The three quietly snuck off towards the barman. After exchanging a few glances, Ron spoke. "Aberforth, Can we get into the Room of Requirement?" Aberforth nodded. After the Battle of Hogwarts he was used to surprises. He had probably also known that they were there. He led them to the portrait of Ariana.

"Well in you go," he said in his usual gruff manner. Ron, Hermione and Ginny followed the passage for what seemed like ages. Finally they reached the door. Ginny reached out and wrenched it open. To everyone's surprise they were in the room where everything's hidden. And Harry was waiting.

Ginny ran up and hugged him. "Anyone would think that I had disappeared for months rather than hours. Did you get a Time Turner?" The question was directed at Hermione. "The same one from third year, I'm guessing?" When Hermione looked at him, shocked, Harry grinned. "I figured that out in seventh year. It was right after the Lovegoods. When you asked me to get the tent, I thought I saw a gold chain. Anyways, you didn't have to get it. I found plenty in this room." It was then that they realized that Harry was holding a big sack. "I have 10 Time Turners and a spell book in there. It turns out that nothing really burned from the fire. Come on. If we stay here for too long, we'll drown under all the stuff.

"Wait, Harry, we get to come too?"Ginny asked.

"Are you insane?" This earned him a thump. "Of course I'm taking you guys. You stuck with me in all the tough spots and I want my parents to meet my friend. Hurry up. I'll try the Cloak but I'm not sure that it'll fit all of us."

"It's fine Harry," Ron reassured him. "Mione made one."

"Then let's go," an impatient tone was entering his voice. So Ron wrenched open the door and the four witches and wizards stepped outside. Hogwarts was still in repair as it had been badly damaged during the battle. It still looked a lot better than it had been a month ago. Harry ran across the floor three times thinking, the place where we did D.A. A door materialized. "And in we go."

Inside was a simple room with 4 bean bags. Harry got right down to business. He was eager to see if his idea would work, and he really wanted to meet his parents, especially after the incident in the forest. "Here's my idea. Hermione probably told you that I want to go back in time and visit my parents. She said that I can't go back that far or stop time. So I found this spell. It will freeze time for two weeks. We could change the future. I was thinking that we bring my parents, Sirius, Remus, Regulus, and Severus."

It took a while for everything to sink in. It was Hermione that spoke up first. "Harry. Can I see the spell?" Everyone smiled at that. Mione was most comfortable around books.

"Sure." Reaching into the sack, Harry pulled out a large book. Rather than look for a page, he got it open with a flick of his wand. The page read,

The time-stop spell is very difficult to do. If gone wrong, it can freeze time forever. It will stop time for three weeks if done correctly. Do use it wave your arms like a windmill and say Tempri Geldu.

"I've been practicing for a few weeks and I think it will work. Hermione, can you turn to page 530? There's a spell in there to make the Time Turner go back as far as you need it to." Hermione found the page. She began nodding and murmuring.

"I think it'll work. I'm impressed. You put a lot of work into this. But will we tell them about all of our years? That won't take us three weeks. And how do we know that changing the future won't completely destroy it? Even if Sirius hadn't given the Secret Keeper job to Peter and your Mum and Dad hadn't been betrayed, isn't it likely that Voldemort would have tortured the information out of Sirius?" Harry grimaced and looked worried, but only for a second.

"I'm not sure if I mentioned this, but for your first question, somehow this Muggle writer got my story. There's one on each of my years. In our time, the first one was just published, but I went into the future 10 years to get the rest. They're in the sack," he said, gesturing to the brown sack. And McGonagall from this time loaned me one of Dumbledore's instruments. It can show the future as it would be from the current time. If it looks bad, we can just obliviate them." As surprising as the news was, they were partly used to Harry doing odd things.

The Boy Who Lived pulled out a Time Turner."Hermione, can you give me yours?" when she handed it over, he tapped it. It glowed gold before returning to its normal state. Ron and Hermione pulled the chain over their heads and Ginny and Harry did the same.

"21 turns," Hermione reminded everyone. The cold wind chilled the bones as they fell back in time.

The first words out of Ron's mouth were, "Did it work? Where are we?"

"Ron," said Hermione, "I think that we're in the 3rd floor corridor. The one where Fluffy was."

"WHAT!" This came from the other three.

"Shhh. Muffiato. We aren't supposed to change time, so please shut up. Come on, Invisibility Cloaks."

Harry, Ron and Ginny agreed and within a few seconds they had disappeared. "Hurry up," Mione ordered. "We need to get into the Come and Go Room. They broke into a run. Luckily everyone was in classes. Barely ten minutes had passed when 4 teenagers collapsed on chairs.

"Mione, do you know how to do the spell? I think I could get it but I feel more confident with you doing it."

"I would have had to have a few weeks of practice to do it. Since you've tested it already, it would be better for you to do the spell. I 'd recommend Impervious on the room though."

"Okay." Raising his wand, Harry Potter said, "Impervious. Tempri Geldu. When he said the time stop spell, an icy draft seemed to settle on the room. "Good. I think it worked. Now all we need to do is pick up the Marauders and Mum." They left the room with Ron in the lead. Ron had barely opened the door however, when he abruptly stopped, causing the three behind him to crash into him and fall in a mess of arms and legs.

"Ouch… Ron… you git. Get off of me. What in the world is wrong?"

"Uh...Uh...Never mind. You've got to see for yourself."

Once they got untangled, everyone poked their head out the door. If someone had been listening, he would have heard three gasps. Everything except the people was covered in ice. It looked like what Fleur had described Beauxbatons to be. And, right in front of them, were the ones they had been looking for.
