Another original Thomas story, this time it's the exciting conclusion to the James and Percy POV, told as a regular story, entitled "James's Payback" with added lines by tate310. Enjoy and comment.
James and Percy hadn't talked to each-other in two weeks. They were cross at each other for saying negative things about each-other
James had decided to sleep at Brendam Docks, so that he could stay as far away as he could from Percy.
One night, James stayed awake, trying to come up with something to pay Percy back.
Then, an idea flew into his funnel...
Next morning, James went to see Percy at Tidmouth Sheds.
Percy was surprised to see James back, and so were the other engines.
"Where have you been?" asked Thomas. "We've missed you."
Percy was still cross at James.
"Can you come with me Percy?" asked James.
Percy didn't want to go, but he figured that James was finally going to apologize to him, so he puffed off."
James took Percy to Knapford Station, where the first part of his plan to take Percy back was going to take place.
"Sir Topham Hatt told me that you are going to pull the Express today." said James.
Percy was surprised.
"I can't pull the Express!" said Percy. "I'm too little."
"But today, you are going to prove to everyone that little engines can do big things." explained James. "Sir Topham Hatt is going to be proud."
So Percy was coupled up to the Express coaches, and after all the passengers boarded, Percy puffed away.
James's plan was working perfectly.
Soon, Gordon arrived at Knapford Station.
"Where are my coaches?" he asked.
James didn't say a word.
"Did you take my coaches?"
"Percy has them." said James finally.
Gordon was now crosser than ever.
"I'm going to report this to Sir Topham Hatt!" he said and he puffed away in a fit of rage.
Meanwhile, Percy was pulling the Express through the countryside.
The passengers were very happy, and everything was going smoothly, until, it happened.
"That's weird." said Percy. "I'm on another line."
The signalman was surprised to see Percy pulling the Express.
He telephoned Sir Topham Hatt.
"Percy has the Express!" cried the signalman. "And he's heading towards the seaside!"
"Gordon's driver just told me that James is behind this." said Sir Topham Hatt.
The rails on the other line were old and rusty. Signs that read GO SLOW were placed throughout the line.
But Percy wanted to get the passengers to their destination on time, so he went even faster.
Then, disaster struck. Percy was going so fast, that he forget to turn at a junction. The driver applied the brakes, but it was too late! Percy came off the rails and crashed into the sea, with the Express coaches!
SPLASH!
The passengers were hurt badly, and were wet as well, but the driver and fireman had jumped clear, and had only suffered minor injuries.
Within minutes, James came by.
"Look at you Percy." he laughed. "You have proven to the world that you can't do big things."
"And I'll say that you are in so much trouble!"
James then knew who that voice was. It was Sir Topham Hatt, who was beyond, and I really mean BEYOND cross.
"You are a very naughty engine James!" boomed Sir Topham Hatt. "Look at what you've done."
"I didn't do this sir!" said James, who was smirking. "It was an accident."
"Not at all! This was all your fault! I am going to punish you severely. You will be locked in your shed forever and ever and ever!
James had been bricked up, just like Henry after he wouldn't come out of his tunnel. I wonder if he'll ever get out, but I think he deserved his punishment, don't you?
