"OK you know the plan right?" Sirius whispered to James and Remus as they double-checked the Marauder's Map. They had left Peter as a look out near the kitchen as they snuck into the Slytherin common room. Giggles broke out from the other two boys.
"Yes Padfoot, we know the plan," Remus finally managed to wheeze out. "We sneak in, find Snape's bed, put the stuffed possum," he had to stop as he giggled again, "snap the picture, and never let him live it down."
"Right. Ready boys?"
"Ready," James and Remus answered. The boys entered the dorm, sneaking into the room where Severus was snoring loudly. The three almost broke their cover when they saw Severus cuddling a very feminine clown while wearing rather lacey pajamas.
The next day pictures of Snape could be seen plastered to every imaginable surface: the table tops in the Great Hall, the fronts of the suits of armor, on every door, and across the fronts of every painting. Severus was furious; all of his attempts to remove the pictures caused more to appear, baffling both he and Professor McGonagal, who was trying not to laugh. "I'm sorry Mr. Snape, but until I can figure this out, the pictures have to stay."
Severus blushed as he stammered, "But Pro … Professor!"
"No buts Mr. Snape! Now off to dinner with you!"
Colin Creevey was chasing Ginny's escaped Pygmy Puff when he ran headlong into an infuriated Snape. "I'm sorry Professor!"
"Watch where you are going boy!" Snape noticed Colin's camera and turned even redder in the face. "So you're the one!"
"What do you mean Sir?"
"Don't act like you don't know! Come with me!" Snape grabbed Colin by the arm, pulling him toward McGonagal's office. "Minerva I've found the perpetrator," he bellowed slamming Colin into a chair.
"I hardly think that Mr. Creevey hear had anything to do with this," she waved a picture of Snape in his general direction. "In fact," she turned the picture over, "it's signed." Sure enough the back of the picture showed a rather fancy signature. It read: Mr. Padfoot sends his best wishes to Mrs. Severus Snape.
"Oh bother not him again!" Snape turned blood red and left the room.
"Can I see the picture Professor?" Colin asked.
"Sorry Mr. Creevey but I'm just not that cruel, however funny the picture may be." A small smile crossed her face as she put the picture in a drawer, recalling the first time she had seen it. "Now off to dinner with you!"
