At the Applewood Rose Grille, Emma's birthday party was going on. Donna was giving her a birthday present, which is a wooden Mexican doll of a flamenco dancer. Emma knew in her heart she got it from one of her crazy adventures. To cover that she actually got it with The Three Caballeros, she told everyone that Donna got it at a Mexican-themed souvenir shop, then she winked at Donna.
As Emma was opening her present from Luis, Donna saw a girl at an end table looking depressed. "That's just my best friend's daughter, "Andie," said one of the waitresses, "I thought I could bring her to Emma's birthday party to help make new friends."
"Sarah," Donna asked, "What school is she attending in the fall?"
"Berry" Sarah answered
"That's where I attend" Donna recalled.
Donna walked up to Andie and greeted herself. Then she asked how old is she, "18" Andie answered, "And I'm going to be a junior."
Donna was shocked by this and wondered how "I was held back 2 Junior years." Andie explained., "Fortunately, my dreams of being a street dancer keeps me happy. "
"Sounds like you trying to keep yourself busy" Donna replied.
"I was part of a dance crew in Baltimore called, "410" we usually do an illegal competition called, "The Streets". Andie continued, "Sarah feared that I might get hurt if I stayed longer in Baltimore."
Donna remembered the dance competitions and was amazed that there are illegal competitions, "I need time to think to myself" Andie explained, "Maybe a night at The Dragon can clear my head."
Suddenly, Donna remembered that The Dragon is the local dance club at the Hollis College and they can't be in there without an adult over 18. So she decided to talk to Helen about this. She found Helen by a table, flirting with some females. "Helen, can we talk" Donna asked.
The two females left to give Helen and Donna some space, "Look, Sarah's best friend's daughter just moved in from Baltimore and is depressed due to grades and graves."
"Grades and Graves" Helen replied, "Like that Bad Dream Diva song."
"Exactly" Donna replied, "She needs to boost her confidence. Maybe you can stop by Club Dragon and talk this through with her. Because people under 18 aren't allowed in there without an adult."
"No prob, Donna" Helen smiled. "Baby Bram and Simon are working on a duet together anyway.
