Alternate Ending
Lightning defeated Orphan. He died. (Or she or whatever.) Lightning and everyone except for Vanille and Fang rose into the air.
"Stay close!" Lightning said. They all held hands and looked at Vanille and Fang below them.
"Ready?" Fang asked Vanille. She nodded and the two merged to become Ragnarok. Lightning, Snow, Hope, and Sazh were sent to Pulse along with everyone else on Cocoon. The planet soon sunk down faster and faster. "Save Cocoon, don't destroy, save cocoon," The thoughts pulsed through Vanille's mind.
Ragnarok brought lava to the lands. The grassy plains, cities and towns, everything was burning under the hot sizzling lava. Ragnarok tried to bring ice to the land to freeze the lava but it didn't work. The lava burnt Cocoon and Ragnarok was loosing time- Cocoon was falling out of the sky. Lightning and everyone else stared at Cocoon. It was burning, burning and falling. Right before their eyes. "They wouldn't destroy Cocoon would they?" Lightning desperately thought. She wanted to ask them herself but she couldn't. Not now. It was too late.
No matter how many times they brought the ice to the land it wouldn't freeze the lava. Ragnarok was burning in the lava it brought. Vanille and Fang gave up. The lava burnt them and they died. Cocoon fell out of the sky and was scorching in the heat. Cocoon was gone. Everyone who was crystal and stayed on the planet died with it.
"Serah," Lightning and Snow said simultaneously.
"Dajh," Sazh said. Tears filled everyone's eyes. "They couldn't save Cocoon, Cocoon is gone along with Serah.... and Dajh...."
Cocoon fell from the sky and baked from the lava. It soon cooled and became a floating crystal in the sky. Without Orphan, Cocoon was dead now. It no longer existed.
Cocoon died.
