"Don't say that!", yells Teddy Lupin as he shoves a boy in a wall. The boy took a step forward and replies," Look I'm telling the truth. I just said that—"
"Do you want to finish that?" asks Teddy venomously as he draws his wand out. All of the scared boy's friends back away because they know Teddy Lupin's terrifying dueling skills.
Just then Teddy's friend Victoire comes running and exclaims," Teddy! Are you getting in a fight again? This is the third time this week!"
Teddy looks at her and his glare softens up a bit. He looks at the crowd forming around him and sees a look of terror on their faces. He immediately pushes everyone away and runs outside.
That day was a sunny day and Teddy sat next to the lake where, years ago his father had sat down and joked around with his friends. Teddy muttered, "Dad, I miss you." Then he stayed there, thinking about last week.
It all started when last week in his defense against the dark arts class, Teddy was being his normal self, joking and laughing with his friends. Then his teacher said," All right class. Today we'll be learning about…" and he flipped to a random page in his book and said," Werewolves."
Teddy immediately stopped laughing and became quiet. Werewolves were always a sore subject for him. A girl in his room shrieked," I don't want to learn about scary, hairy beasts!"
The young metamorphmagus felt furious and started to glare at the girl. The girl looked at Teddy and whispered something to her boyfriend. The boy nodded and the girl smirked at Teddy. Teddy looked away, trying to concentrate on his lesson. The teacher talked about werewolves and how to distinguish the difference between an animagus and a werewolf.
After DADA class, Teddy walked in the hallway when he felt a blow to his head. He turned around and saw the boy from class. The boy asked," Why were you looking at my girl?"
Teddy looked at him and said," I was just annoyed by her comment about werewolves." The other boy sneered and taunted, "All she said was that werewolves are sick, disgusting, ev-"
The boy didn't get to finish because of his bloody nose. Teddy wiped the blood from his fists and said, "I don't want to hear anything about werewolves! Got it?" and walked away.
This happened three times and after each time Teddy went outside and thought ,"Dad, why aren't you here. And each time Victoire was watching Teddy from her dormitory thinking, "Teddy how can I help you?"
So, on the third fight Teddy was outside and was lying down in the grass. Then Victoire came and asked Teddy, "Teddy, what's wrong?"
Teddy turned around and said, "I miss my dad, I miss my mom, I want to see them, I would do anything to meet them. I-"
And that's all he said because the next second, Victoire was kissing Teddy... and Teddy was kissing her back.
