I was wondering that at first.
Until I made a list.
And it goes like this…
This Is Why I Love You
1—You never forget
Everything I say, you remember for weeks after. You remember my favorite things. Which things annoy me. Which things I can't get enough of (you being one of them). You never forget our dates. Even if I do.
2—You are forgiving and patient
You'll forgive me if I forget a date. You are so patient when I come too late because of detention (stupid ass teachers). And you just smile happily when I show up, completely disregarding the fact that I was probably and hour late.
3—You always smile
You always smile at me. That may be something that others don't like but when you do that it makes me happy. (Yeah, Yeah. 'Bakura happy about smiling? This isn't the jackass we know' Well you can shut the hell up!)
4—You always let me know you care
From cooking my favorite meal for no special reason to random little kisses to those small little texts that you send me saying 'I love you!' with a smiley face attached. Just little things but I love them so much.
5—You kiss me
Yeah, Yeah. All couples kiss (or at least the normal ones do). But you give them to me in the morning when you stay over. They are right when I wake up too. Or when you kiss me awake (even when I have morning breath!). I like that too. You kiss me goodnight, you kiss me as a greeting (instead of yelling 'Hey! How's it going!' from another room) and you even give me random little kisses (or passionate kisses, I like both) as stated before.
6—You always leave me notes when we are away
Every time we are away, I find a note. A small reminder to do the dishes, fix the light or something like that (bad examples, I know). Or it could be a small message saying good night or it could even be a nicely drawn heart. I'll find them in the most convenient places too. On my pillow with a note saying good night. In the fridge with a note saying that pizza was already on the way. Or even on my locker telling me that we will need our textbooks (he doesn't like me losing points for things like that). Once I found one on the gate to the park! God I love him so much…
7—You surprise me all the time
Nothing is the same without you.

And that is where I stopped writing.
Because as I was writing this, I realized something.
I love everything about you.
From things I have mentioned to things I haven't.
You're perfect.
You're an angel in disguise.
No.
You are so much better than an angel.
I can't believe how lucky I am to have found you.
And I know I am not acting like I usually do.
Annoying people I hate or scaring little kids 'till they wet their pants.
But hey.
I guess love will do that to you.

Just look back at this.
Because this is why I love Ryou.
There really was a couple would wouldn't kiss until they were married. I couldn't believe it. But apparently it's true.
