Sound the bugle

(On Hiatus)In the future, due to certain circumstances, America has gone into a state of isolation, even worse he's missing. Now after 7 yrs of dealing with the lack of America's presence, certain countries take drastic measures and are planning on invading. But can they find the elusive man before time runs out? Rated T for paranoia. May contain yaoi in later chapters.

Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters from Hetalia –Axis Powers, believe me if I did the episodes would be longer! Lol

The year is 2034; it has been almost 7 years since America has isolated itself from the rest of the world. The sudden switch shocked the world; the nation did however pay off all its dept before deciding that it no longer wanted any contact from the outside. Though if you were to look at it politically, with the growing threat of a 3rd world war looming over them, America was in no position to do much else then recede into itself—what with all the economical and political turmoil ravishing the land; not to mention the severe droughts; forest fires that ranged the entire country; and general unrest in the populous where rumors of a second civil war were alight.

To even make matters worse, the personification of the once mighty super power was nowhere to be found, and hasn't been for the past 4 years of the isolation and it was beginning to worry the President and his cabinet; but even if they were keeping tabs on the rest of the world to know that things have cooled down even just slightly, they were still too stubborn to break the isolation to call upon the other countries' personifications for help.

Lucky for them then that a few countries are fed up with America's self-imposed isolation, and were just about ready to invade to find the idiot and 'talk' some sense into him. If only they had known that the country's own populous didn't even know where he was, because one thing was sure: if Alfred F. Jones; the personification of the United States of America did not want to be found, he would not be found. Let's just hope these searching nations find the loveable idiot before he disappears completely, for it would be the final straw that broke the camel's back as the saying goes.

Rok here and this is in fact my first actual story, though I do hope to continue on with 'Letters from New York' as well as submit some other ideas that have been floating aimlessly around my head.
