Chapter 1 – The Sand Ninja's Madness.
Gaara strummed his Gibson with little energy. Pale skin seemed to compliment the sheen of the guitar. His palms moved faster matching a beat he heard on the radio.
His soft voice rang through the village with smooth efficiency like sand on the wind.
"Sometimes I feel
Like I don't have a partner
Sometimes I feel
Like my only friend
Is the city I live in
The city of angel
Lonely as I am
Together we cry"
Temari and Kankuro looked up at the statue watching Gaara's new talent in action. His singing was magnificent and he could play guitar like no other. "Maybe we should enter that contest?" Temari asked looking at her younger brother. Kankuro didn't reply but a smirk splayed across his face. His brother had talent no doubt, but that's not all it takes to win that contest. Yet he too felt the courage from his sister and he could always feel the edged sword of his younger brother's excitement for joining something big. He himself had always wanted to try it. Yet he felt uncertain and for a moment he wanted to refuse but reason one out.
"I drive on her streets
'cause she's my companion
I walk through her hills
'cause she knows who I am
She sees my good deeds
And she kisses me windy
I never worry
Now that is a lie"
"Are you serious?" Gaara asked looking at his siblings with the same bored expression he usually had.
"We know that you would do great in the BATTLE OF THE BANDS CONTEST." Temari said hugging him.
"Not to mention the prize money would pay off our debts to the Hidden Leaf Village." Kankuro laughed relaxing against the stone pedestals of the mansion.
Gaara inside felt himself lift higher into the air. This was the moment he was waiting for. What he had always dreamed of…the spotlight…the fans…the recognition. His spine tensed with the excitement and he nodded rapidly. Temari smiled and raced to her room to grab her stuff and Kankuro slowly exited his room to prepare. Gaara stared up at the sky and smiled. "I'll make you proud ma I promise." he said smiling as he grabbed his guitar.
"And I don't ever want to feel
Like I did that day
Take me to the place I love
Take me all away."
There you go Chapter 1. Now when I said you have a job you do have a job. You see I needed this squad now I need some more ideas. Give me some characters to make into a band.
