Prologue

On the 31st of July 1980 Hadrian(Harry) Sirius Potter and Lukas(Luke) Remus Potter were born. Harry entered the world first, Harry entered the world quietly and was given to James. Lily's screams filled the room again as Lily births her second child. Luke was screaming at the top of his tiny lungs due to the sudden shock of being forced from the safety of his mother's womb. He continued to fuss after this, kicking his legs, face red in frustration and possibly anger. Lily looked at them with happiness in her eyes at the sight of her sons. Harry had dark brown hair and brown eyes his twin looked almost exactly the same except Lukes hair was a lighter brown.

Voldemort didn't bother with stealth when he burst through the door of the small cottage in Godric Hollow. Earlier that day he had gotten hold of Peter Pettigrew and forced the address out of him. The father, James, was the first to confront the Dark Lord. Lord Voldemort snorted at him and threw him into the wall, knocking him unconscious. He scoffed at how easy it was to overpower him and was tempted to start torturing him or to kill him, but turned his back on the unconscious figure, vowing to have his way later. After all, he was here for a reason.

Walking into the nursery, the Dark Lord was then confronted with the second parent- Lily Potter. The young parent stood in front of her children's cribs, shielding them with her body. A look of determination sat across her face, making a fire blasé within her eyes. Her hand was out stretched, her wand in a tight grip pointed straight at him.

"Step aside you insolent women, and I may spare your life." Lord Voldemort's voice came out in a hiss, not unlike that of a snake.

"I will never let you harm my children so you can just go to hell." She shouted at the Dark Lord, making him even more furious with her.

"Stupefy!" With a flick of his wand, Voldemort cast Lily's unconscious body aside and got his first good look at the two babies. A large pair of brown eyes stared back at him. The other child was sitting next to him, staring at their mother and crying.

Voldemort snorted, 'So one of these brats is supposed to destroy me, huh.' he thought to himself. 'Well, not anymore.' He raised his wand towards the crib with a steady hand and an eerie green light started to emit from the tip. "Avada Kedavra!"

The lighter haired boy's crying escalated, while the other one only continued to stare into his glowing red eyes as the stream of light came near them. Suddenly a bright golden light stopped the curse dead in front of the crib before rebounding and heading straight towards its caster. The room was quiet once the light died down. Harry continued to stare at the spot where the Dark Lord disappeared from. His brother was lying next to him, as unconscious as their mother debris fell and hit on the head leaving a scar in the shape of a star. Finally, Voldemort was gone and the Wizarding World was free. While pettigrew in a rat form snuck away.

James woke up first and rushed up stairs. He woke up Lily.

"Sirius is a traitor, he was our secret keeper. He has been feeding info to the dark lord this whole time." James put his head in his hands.

Dumbledore walked in

"Headmaster, please, are you able to distinguish which of our children are the one spoken about in the prophecy?" Lily softly spoke from her position on the floor. She and James looked up at the old wizard with concern.

Dumbledore looks at the babys in there cribs. He sees the star on luke's for head. "I give you Luke Remus Potter, the boy who lived."

James hugs Lily, She is dazed for a moment, but then she is pushing her husband away, rushing toward her baby, and fussing over Luke. Neither of them notice Harry, whose eyes shine with unshed tears, the brown eyes now green or the celtic knot on harry's shoulder fading into his skin, but he doesn't make a sound.

4 year later

Harry Potter, the older twin to the boy who lived sat quietly in his room, as the chaos of the birthday party rang around him. His twin, Luke, turned five today, and so did he, but while Luke was downstairs surrounded by presents and mountains of food, he was here in a dark corner of his room in the attic, trying his best not to cry. Forgotten , he was forgotten again, what was new, ever since Luke had defeated Tom Riddle on their first Halloween, he had tossed aside like yesterday's' rubbish, not worthy, not enough for his parent's affection. 5 year old Harry longed for their affection but would never gain it.
