Hermione Granger was in the library of Hogwarts. Most of the teacher and students thought she was just doing her normal routine, which was reading a dozen books at a library per day. However, she was working on far more than that. She knew that there was some shady business in Hogwarts. Although the worst offender was Voldemort, that didn't mean he was Hogwarts' only source of trouble. After doing days of research, Hermione came upon secrets, which no other Hogwarts student has ever come across.

After finding out such secrets, Hermione wondered who she could trust. She considered telling her best friends, Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley. However, she didn't trust Ron, because of how immature he was and she knew if she just told Harry, Harry would tell Ron and Ron would whine about her lack of trust in him. She was planning on keeping what she learned a secret, for now. As she exited the library, she passed by Harry Potter. She nervously hoped that Harry wouldn't ask what she's up to. She said, "Hi Harry."

Harry smiled and replied, "Hi Hermione. What's up?"

Hermione gritted her teeth and responded, "Harry, you weren't supposed to ask that."

Harry said, "I'm sorry. So, I heard Voldemort's trial is tomorrow."

Hermione replied, "It sure is. I'm going to make sure he gets arrested."

Harry responded, "That's cool."

Hermione looked around and made sure that no students were nearby. She whispered to Harry, "I can't reveal too many details yet, but one of our most trusted advisors is actually a greedy, shady businessman."

Harry whispered, "Is it Snape?"

Professor Severus Snape overheard him. He had an offended look on his face, while saying, "Watch your tongue, Potter. I may be grouchy and strict, but I'm a trustworthy person."

Harry asked, "Didn't you use to work for Voldemort?"

Snape repeated the saying, "Watch your tongue, Potter."

Harry asked, "What does that mean?"

Hermione answered, "He wants you to stop talking."

Snape whispered, "Lots of people want him to shut-up."

The next day, Ron started walking to Professor Albus Dumbledore's office. Before getting there, he poured sludge on Harry's muffin. Harry asked, "Will you ever stop the sludge pranks?"

Ron smiled and said, "Don't worry about it."

Professor Dumbledore walked up to Ron. Ron asked, "Has the new Professor of the Dark Arts done anything bad?"

Dumbledore said, "He hasn't done anything wrong, yet. In fact, he seems pretty nice. However, we need to be prepared for any upcoming tricks."

Ron replied, "I won't let this new guy cause us any trouble."

Dumbledore said, "That's why I'm planning on selling a new product."

Harry asked, "A new product?" Sounds interesting."

Dumbledore smiled and said, "Come to my office. I have the most exciting of news."

Harry and Ron went into Dumbledore's office. Harry asked, "What's going on?" Dumbledore pointed to a curtain. Harry and Ron looked at it and could tell that there was something underneath. Harry asked, "What's under there?"

Dumbledore pulled off the curtain and revealed a one hundred ounce bottle of recyclable magic. He explained, "If you want to stay in business, you have to sell big things. The recyclable magic bottles, from the past, weren't big enough. This giant bottle will guarantee a big pay increase for all of us."

Ron replied, "Sounds awesome."

Dumbledore walked up to Harry and Ron and said, "You and I have been in business for two solid years. During that time, we've accomplished so much. I've taught you so much, that I feel like I raised you."

Harry replied, "You have always been a father figure to me."

Dumbledore said, "We're going to become the richest people in Hogwarts."

Harry replied, "Sounds good."

Meanwhile, Hermione and Voldemort reported to the Judge's office, for Voldemort's trial. The judge was Judge Lucius Malfoy, Draco Malfoy's father. Judge Lucius Malfoy walked in and sat down. Hermione shook his hand said, "Greetings Judge. I've heard a lot about your work. It's an honor to meet you."

Judge Malfoy replied, "I feel the same way about you. I'm sorry about my son. He's been humiliating the family name for years." He paused and said, "Hermione, please explain what Voldemort has been up to."

Hermione said, "Voldemort started off as a normal towel salesman. However, Voldemort's main obsession has always been his business. He didn't focus on family and friends. This way of thinking led to him having mental problems. He became obsessed with putting Dumbledore and Harry out of business. He considered them his main business rivals, even though they weren't in the same type of business. Over the years, Voldemort got more and more crazy. He eventually started doing illegal acts and tried to have me, Dumbledore, Ron, and Harry eliminated."

Voldemort said, "Judge, you should feel pity on me."

Judge Malfoy asked, "Why?"

Voldemort stood up and started walking around the room. He spoke in an overdramatic voice, while saying, "My childhood was not an easy experience. My dad was a successful businessman. He was making tons of money, but that idiot quit his business job. He got an average paying job, so that he could spend more time with his family. I never forgave him, for being a foolish moron. That's why I decided to form my own business and never let family or friends get in the way."

Hermione asked, "So, you think that running a successful business is more important than family time?"

Voldemort said, "I sure do."

Judge Malfoy was unpleasantly surprised by how greedy Voldemort sounded. He asked, "Have you been using your wealth to support your family?"

Voldemort said, "Of course not. I never share any money with them, because those idiots deserve nothing. On holidays, I drive by their house and laugh at them. Those losers are nothing, compared to me." He did an evil laugh.

Hermione had a horrified look on her face, while saying, "Judge, I think this proves that Voldemort needs to be locked up."

Judge Malfoy replied, "That seems to be the case."

Voldemort was hoping that he could trick the Judge. He said, "I believe that I deserved to be spared from prison."

Judge Malfoy asked, "Why?"

Voldemort said, "I'm insane. My mental problems earn me a spot in an asylum, not a prison."

Hermione looked at him and replied, "You clearly are crazy, but that doesn't excuse the monster you've become."

Judge Malfoy sternly said, "I've come to a decision."

Hermione asked, "What is it?"

Judge Malfoy said, "Voldemort is to be locked up for a year. If he shows improvement, he will be moved to an asylum. Otherwise, he's going to serve a long prison sentence."

Hermione put handcuffs on Voldemort. Voldemort said, "This law system is corrupt. You're arresting, but my boss roams free."

Hermione nervously asked, "You have a boss? Who is your boss?"

Voldemort had an evil smile on his face, while saying, "If you let me go, I'll tell you. Otherwise, you're going to spend a long time looking for him."

Hermione replied, "I'm not letting you go and I'm going to find out who your boss is."

Voldemort had a smug smile on his face, while saying, "I guarantee, that I'll return." He did an evil laugh.

After the trial was over, Hermione had a somewhat disappointed look on her face. Harry walked up to her and asked, "Are you okay?"

Hermione said, "Yes, I put an end to Voldemort's evil business. However, I feel disappointed. I've been trying to hold on to the belief that everybody has the potential to be good. However, Voldemort challenges that sentiment. I was hoping that his insanity was the reason for his evilness, but he seems to have no redeeming qualities."

Harry replied, "Everybody does have the potential for improvement. It seems that Voldemort has always refused to change. If he wanted to become better, he could. He only can blame himself for what happened."

Hermione responded, "Fair point."

Harry said, "Hermione, before you came to our city, this place was overflowing with villains and scoundrels. You've been a symbol of hope and I couldn't be more proud of you."

Hermione smiled and replied, "Thank you."

Harry responded, "You're welcome."

Hermione started walking back to the library of Hogwarts, but Luna Lovegood ran up to her and asked, "How did the trial go?"

Hermione said, "Voldemort's going to be locked up for a year or longer."

Luna replied, "That's great news. The city is going to be a lot safer." She put her arm around Hermione and said, "It's time for the next step."

Hermione asked, "Next step?"

Luna said, "We need to put Dumbledore and Ron out of business."

Hermione asked, "Why?"

Luna patted Hermione on the back and replied, "You did such a great job stopping the nose-less wizard of evil, that you need to continue the mission."

Hermione had a confused look on her face, while asking, "What are you talking about?"

Luna tried to hide her jealously, while saying, "I know that you and Harry have become buddies, but you can't show him and his boss sympathy. They've been doing corrupt schemes, for as long as nose-less boy has."

Hermione replied, "Perhaps, but I believe that they're different."

Luna glared at Hermione and asked, "What do you mean?"

Hermione explained, "I believe that they're more morally responsible. Professor Dumbledore has been known for being greedy and corrupt, but he's not pure evil. As for Harry, he's changed a lot. His pranks have become less extreme and he's been more respectful to me."

Luna replied, "However, I'm sure that they're guilty of a few crimes. If you want to be the best Sheriff possible, you'll investigate their company."

Hermione responded, "You're right. I'm going to check out Dumbledore Industries."

Luna smiled and said, "Wonderful decision. Can I join you?"

Hermione asked, "Why?"

Luna passionately said, "You and I are a team. We're partners, buddies, allies, and we're both super cute."

Hermione replied, "Okay then." She paused and said, "I owe you a lot of thanks. Because of you, I've been making more progress on the business world, than ever before."

Luna smiled and said, "Thank you. You're the first person, in years, whose shown respect and care for me." Hermione and Luna hugged each other.

A half hour later, Professor Dumbledore had Ron come to his office. Ron asked, "What's going on, boss?"

Dumbledore said, "Hermione Granger, and her little sidekick, Luna Lovegood, are coming here, tomorrow."

Ron asked, "Why?"

Dumbledore replied, "Some kind of investigation. Thankfully, I've hid my most damaging secrets in a secretive place."

Ron asked, "Why do you think Hermione's coming here?"

Dumbledore had a concerned look on his face, while saying, "She might want to learn about my one hundred ounce bottle idea. She could find out about it and reveal it to the media. If she does that, my advertising campaign will be ruined. We can't let her spoil the surprise."

Ron replied, "Don't worry about it. Hermione's not the gossiping type. If she found out about the new shampoo, she wouldn't make a fuss about it."

Dumbledore responded, "That's good news."

Ron thought about the situation and said, "It'll be nice to have Hermione here. I visit her all the time, so her visiting me is a step up."

Dumbledore replied, "Perhaps, she's coming here to see you."

Ron responded, "I highly doubt that. Hermione's super dedicated to her job. She wouldn't skip work to see me, although I would love that."

Dumbledore said, "Well, tomorrow's going to be quite the day. We have to keep Emily from finding out anything important. You'll have to work harder than usual, Ron. I hope that you can handle that."

Ron replied, "Don't worry about it."

Meanwhile, Voldemort was put back in his call. Gilderoy Lockhart walked by and said, "Hi, nose-less boy."

Voldemort angrily replied, "I'm tired of that stupid nickname." He paused and said, "Professor Lockhart, you're known for being overly nice."

Lockhart had a smug smile on his face, while responding, "That's really good."

Voldemort said, "Because of your nice reputation, you should show me sympathy. Unlock the cell."

Lockhart replied, "I'm sorry, but Hermione Granger banned me from doing that."

Voldemort stuck his hand out and said, "Give me my phone."

Lockhart replied, "I'm afraid Hermione got rid of it."

Voldemort nervously said, "I'm doomed." He paused and said, "I will get my revenge!"

The next day, Hermione and Luna went into Dumbledore's office. Harry and Ron didn't seem too bothered by it, but Dumbledore looked panicked. Hermione said, "We're going to be investigating your office." She showed off a warrant and said, "We have permission to check this place out, so don't bother kicking us out."

Dumbledore started sweating, while saying, "Very well then." He nervously ran up to Ron and asked, "Did you get rid of the recycling?"

Ron said, "Not yet. It seemed like a bloody big chore and I forgot about it."

Dumbledore tried to talk really quietly, so only Ron could hear him. He whispered, "The papers we can't Hermione see are in there, so they need to be recycled as soon as possible."

Dumbledore was unaware that Luna had the best hearing of any Hogwarts student. She whispered to Hermione and told her what Dumbledore said. Hermione sternly said, "Hand over those papers."

Dumbledore nervously replied, "Okay then, Ms. Granger." He grabbed the papers out of the recycling bin and handed them to Hermione, while sweating.

Hermione read them and found out that her investigations had accurate results. She looked at him and said, "You've been accepting bribes from Voldemort, haven't you?"

Dumbledore sighed and replied, "Yeah."

Harry and Ron were surprised by Dumbledore's terrible decision. Harry asked, "Why did you do it?"

Dumbledore answered, "I wanted more money. Hogwarts doesn't pay well."

Hermione looked back at him and said, "You know you're going to get fired, right?"

Dumbledore sighed and replied, "I assumed so. Ah well. Back to the wizard board." He packed up a suitcase, said his goodbyes to Harry and Ron, and walked out.

Harry looked at Hermione and said, "I can't believe Dumbledore would do that."

Hermione replied, "You can never be too careful."

Harry said, "I know that now and I won't be so gullible anymore, thanks to you." Hermione smiled. Although Hogwarts would have more trouble on the way, they would be careful about who they hire and trust, thanks to Hermione.
