Half-Blood News
It is with great sorrow that we must inform all of you reading that at four thirty this morning the Hero of Olympus Perseus Jackson was killed. The wife of Perseus, Mrs. Annabeth Jackson, told reporters this morning that her husband was on a quest to recover a demigod child of Zeus. The child made it across the borders of Half-Blood Hill at approximately five thirty. We have yet to hear from Poseidon on how this will impact him, but we fear that he may be driven to ultimate grief. In the last known interview with Perseus, he informed us that he would be going on only one more quest before he would retire to live a peaceful life at home with his with Annabeth and four children, Charles, Theseus, Sally, and Orion. A shroud burning will take place tonight at sun down at Camp Half-Blood. Please wear semi formal clothing if you attend as all of the Olympians will be on hand. Thank you for your time.

On March 15, 2026 at four thirty A.M. Perseus Jackson died while in combat saving Janice Matricks Daughter of Zeus. Perseus was thirty years old.
Perseus or Percy to friends was known by many titles that he wouldn't want listed here. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Jim and Laura Jackson.
Percy loved sword fights and late night swims. He loved going to camp in the summers just to get away from it all. He fought in both the second Titan War and the Giant War. He was offered Godhood twice, but refused both time preferring to stay on earth with the ones he loves.
Percy is survived by wife Annabeth; children Charles, Theseus, Sally, and Orion; Mother Sally; Stepfather Paul Blofis; father Poseidon; cousins Thalia and Jason Grace; cousin Nico Di Angelo; and many other cousins.
A shroud burning will take place on this same day at Camp Half-Blood during the evening hours.
This is just a random thought that came into my head today. I don't plan to write anymore about this as it was just a spur of the moment thing. Hope you enjoyed though.
