"RIDGE! COME LOOK AT THIS!" I yelled across the room to my husband. I showed him the paper. What I found so amazing was the front-page headline
"Dad, You're Fired!"

I kept reading and saw that Donald Trump is now the host of The Amazing Race. He's looking for volunteer contestants in the business field. I called Bridget and she agreed to be on a team with me. The following weekend, I saw that people I knew were there as well. We were at the airport in Denver, Colorado,waiting for our host. I saw Eric was paired with a business tycoon called Victor Newman. I went to casually chat with the elderly man, just being nice to avoid being U-turned later on. It was then I met a red-haired woman named Phyllis and her teammate Sharon. They call themselves the Mortal Enemies Team. I disliked Sharon right away, thinking she'd be another Taylor. As soon as we started talking, I knew Phyllis and I would become good friends. I started walking around and trying to find out who was on a team with who. The teams I found were:
Me and Bridget-The Mother and Daughter Team
Ridge and Taylor- The Exes Team
Phyllis and Sharon-The Mortal Enemies Team
Eric and Victor- The Old Farts Team
Donna and Ashley-The Gold-Diggers Team
Drucilla and Shela- The We're Not Dead Team
Lilly and Cain-The Married Couple
Michael and Kevin- The Brothers Team
Annie and Emily-She's My Evil Twin Team
Billy and Victoria-The Oops We're Married Team
Wait, Ridge and TAYLOR? I'll U-Turn them first chance I get and kill him later! I went over and slapped Ridge. I heard a satisfying "SMACK" as my hand made sharp contact with his smug face. "Why you complete IDIOT!" I yelled angrily, "How DARE you pair with that harpy? I HATE HER GUTS!" "I bribed him into it, you don't need to know how. He'll be mine before this race is out,just watch, you little hussy!" Taylor whispered in my ear. I slapped her with a vengeance and stormed off angrily. Then we all got a call on our cellphones from Mr. Trump. He told us to find the clue box in the airport by telling the ticket venders "You remind me of the babe." the one that responds "What babe? The babe with the power?" will lead you to the clue box. Once there,you'll find your next clue.
"Let the race begin,let's go Bridget." I said. Then we were off.
