Chapter 1- An Urgent Message
"I hope everypony's alright, Spike." Twilight Sparkle said worriedly as thunder cracked in the sky. She was allicorn - a pony with wings and a horn - with a lavender coat and a dark purple, pink, and violet mane. In her cozy castle, she had welcomed her friends, their pets, all the other ponies they found lost in Ponyville, their now destroyed home.
Spike, Twilight's assistant gulped. He was a baby dragon, not matured because he hadn't got greedy (that was how dragons grew; out of their greediness). He was extremely loyal towards almost anypony. "Do you think somepony's doing this, causing this on purpose, Twilight? The thunder, hurricanes, the fires, the time twist, the earthquakes, and now the thunderstorms; they're all happening right after the subsequent disaster."
"I don't know, Spike. Maybe I should write to Princess Celestia about this." Twilight admitted. (Prin-cess Celestia was the first Princess in the history of Equestria, and her domain and rule was order, and the sun and morning sky.) Twilight quickly magically gave Spike a paper and pen with her horn. "Write this. 'Dear Princess Celestia, I think somepony is causing very villainous trouble. We've had enough trouble keeping everypony safe, much less making sure Ponyville doesn't blow away. Do you know of anything, or anypony that might have caused this? Your most faithful student, and Princess of Friendship, Twilight Sparkle.' Done?"
"Yep."
"Okay, good, Spike, send it." Immediately, Spike breathed his very own special dragon-fire on it. His fire could send anything between Twilight and/or anypony to Princess Celestia.
Meanwhile, Applejack and Fluttershy, two of Twilight's friends, was giving out warm cider to anypony, assuring them that everything was going to be okay. "Everythin's goin' to be fine, sugar cube." Ap-plejack told a young pony, a filly, who was trembling. Fluttershy sung a lullaby to three baby ponies. She gave the parents a carton of cider and five cups.
Pinkie Pie, another friend of Twilight was bringing everypony's things from their homes with her earth pony strength, with occasionally. Rarity and Rainbow Dash were scouting outside of the castle to make sure nopony was wandering around in the open, devastated land.
"So, lemme get this straight, there's been a thunderstorm, and even Twilight can't see what's wrong? I mean, she's a Princess!" Applejack said in her Texas accent. "The ponies are worried like a hurricane of fruit bats dashin' about!
"Well, yes, that seems to be problem. Oh, the horror!" Rarity replied in her formal, English accent. She shook her front legs nervously.
"OH, WAIT! IS THAT A PONY OUT THERE- oh, never mind!" Pinkie smiled. She could always be happy at all times, no matter what the circumstances. "It's just a statue! Oh, I'm so nervous-cited!" Pinkie was a pony with a pink mane and a pink-cotton-candy coat. She was always hyperactive, but excited and cheerful.
"Uh, you do realize that's notta real word." Applejack replied.
"Oh, I just mean I'm nervous and excited!"
"Twilight… it's coming… the letter from Prince-"
BURP!
As Spike burped, his dragon-fire burped out as well, emitting a letter.
"'Dear Twilight,'" Twilight read, "'a creature has awakened something deep inside Tartarus, just like Tirek, but this time, the presence seems more sinister and dark. Come quickly! I have urgent news we must speak of privately. Hurry!' Did you hear that, Spike?! I have to go. Tell everypony that I'm leaving!"
With that, she teleported.
