I DO NOT OWN TWILIGHT!

The room would be pitch- black if not for the single lit candle throwing a dim golden ripple around the room. Two black- clad figures sat in the shadows, glaring transfixed into the light and their own thoughts. One of them was a young man of seemingly about twenty, with a ghostly- pale face which comes from lack of sunlight. His jet- black hair hung near his shoulders. The man's cold dark eyes turned to his love of several generations. She said she was eighteen, though she looked younger; in reality, she was much older. She had short dirty- blond hair and glasses over blue eyes.

"We're going to Forks?" The man, Mikail, asked. "Why exactly?"

The girl, Raeanne, turned to him. "The Cullens naturally. You know, I've always thought of them as traitors to vampire kind. You know, they don't even drink human blood? Plus I hear one of them has fallen for a mortal."

Mikail's face took on a disgusted expression. "As vile as it is, I don't see why we should worry ourselves over it."

"The Volturri believes Bella Swan is a danger because she knows far too much about us. Personally, I've heard she's a bumbling idiot. Honestly, I'm sick of hearing about her."

The other vampire nodded his head in agreement. "Indeed. So we're going out of town for dinner! I'll pick you up at eight."

...

The next evening, Bella Swan found herself alone in the house watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She stuffed some ice cream into her mouth as it went to commercial, the chocolate lingering on her tongue before sliding easily down her throat.

The back door banged open. Bella twisted around in her seat. "Hello?"

There was no answer. Bella felt the small hairs on her arm bristle. She had a bad feeling.

Suddenly, the light went out. Bella gasped, her heart pounding in her chest. She could have sworn she heard breathing in her ear now. Bella slowly twisted her head... and sharp teeth tore into into her neck. Bella felt the immense pain spasm throughout her entire body, then went still.

Raeanne licked her lips clean of the girl's blood as Mikail walked in.

"Did you save any for me?" He asked.

"Plenty," Raeanne replied. "Though I have to warn you, it's not the tastiest blood around."

Mikail sighed. "Oh well. I'm starved!" He turned to the television as the show the girl was watching came back on. "Oh! If only Buffy was real, then she could push a stake through Edward."

Raeanne raised an eyebrow. "And possibly us."

The vampire shrugged. "True," he admitted before feasting. Raeanne was right. This was certainly not the best dinner they ever had.

Raeanne stared at him, then turned to look around the house. "You know, who needs Buffy? I'll make a stake."
