Greg snuggled into Nick's shoulder. They were both hot, and sweaty, and basking in afterglow.
"Say it again, Nicky," Greg yawned.
"Again?"
"Yes, again."
"C'mon, G. Didn't I say it enough tonight?"
"No. I'll never get tired of hearing you say it."
"You're being ridiculous."
"No I'm not. I love hearing you say it."
"G - - -"
"Nicky, pleeeeease."
"Okay, G, if it will make you happy and shut you up so I can get some sleep."
"Fine! Don't say it if you're going to have an attitude about it."
"G - -"
"No, no. Don't bother. If it's such an inconvenience for you to say it to me one more time, then far be it for me to force you. I would think that the man I love and whose world I rocked not once, but twice tonight would do this one little thing for me. It's not like I'm asking you for a kidney or something."
"I'd gladly give you a kidney or any other body part. You know that, G."
"Sure. You'll give me my choice of your vital organs, but you won't say it for me one more time."
"Okay, okay, don't get your shorts in a twist."
"I'm not wearing any."
"True."
"Nicky?"
"Greg?"
"Please. Say it again, just one more time."
"Okay, are you ready?"
"Yeah," Greg said, snuggling back against Nick. "I'm ready."
"CSI Sanders."
"God, I love the sound of that."
"Me too. Congratulations, babe. I'm proud of you."
"Hey, maybe we can get rid of those monogrammed towels you parents gave us last Christmas, and replace them with towels that say CSI Stokes and CSI Sanders."
"Goodnight, Greg."
"I love you, Nicky."
"I love you too, CSI Sanders."
