Sasuke slipped into the kitchen, panting. He had finally gotten away from his boring party, he could finally relax.

"you there! The one lounging about! Come over here and chop these vegetables." Said a petite woman with pink hair and green eyes. she was glaring at sasuke like he had slapped her or something.

"you seem to be mis-" he started to say, but never got to finish as some vegetables, an apron, and a knife were dropped into his hand. When he started to protest again, the pink haired woman glared at him again.

"you are the replacement chef for Luigi, no?" she asked, not even listening to his reply. He looked helplessly down at the mountain of vegetables, sighed and picked up a knife.

"where did you train? Your cutting is so slow! Here, watch me!" the same pink haired woman from before said. Up close, sasuke could see that she was very pretty, with her pouty pink lips and big green eyes. swiftly, she chopped all the vegetables on the cutting board, and swept them into the soup.

"from the way that you're ordering everyone about, and helping me, I'd assume that you are the head chef, Miss Haruno Sakura?" he asked politely when she came towards him again.

"yes, but do you not notice anything else? I am the only woman in this kitchen, I had to fight my way here, so therefore, I am the best! Get chopping vedgey boy, or do I have to tell Mister Uchiha that you were slacking off?" she said to him. He knew that it was pointless to try and tell her that HE was mister Uchiha, the owner of the restaurant, but she wouldn't have listened anyways.

"Sasuke teme, are you in here? Your guests are waiting!" a voice said from the doorway. Saukra looked up and scowled at the blonde man with whisker marks on his cheeks. She wiped off her hand and approached him.

"I assure you Naruto, Mister Uchiha is not in here, if he were, then I'd have sent him back out the minute I saw him!" said a very angry Saukra.

"Are you sure Saukra-chan? He's nowhere else so…" Naruto was worried now, but he felt relieved as he looked around the kitchen.

"He's right over there Saukra-Chan! What are you talking about? And by the looks of it, you put him to work too!" Naruto was laughing now, his best friend and boss was standing, covered in vegetable guts, looking very out of place.

"No Naruto, that is not Mister Uchiha! That our replacement chef… wait! I never got your name! whats your name?" she asked the man. He grinned at her before replying.

"My name is Uchiha Sasuke, thanks for putting me in my place Saukra." He shook her hand, a tiny slip of paper in his hand. To say that saukra was embarrassed would be an understatement. She immedtiatley began to apologize, and asked if there was anything she could do.

He winked at her and said "you could try calling me" before letting go of her hand and going to join his party again.

Saukra blinked, shocked for a minute before she felt the piece of paper in her hand, looking at it, she smiled, carefully tucked it in her pocket, and went back on with her work, whistling a happy tune.

Later, when she had explained her crazy night to her best friend Ino, the blonde couldn't resist squealing "Uchiha Sasuke asked you out? No way! Let me see the note." Saukra smiled and showed it to her.

Dear Miss Haruno Saukra, I like your no nonsense attitude, and I like your sharp tongue.

Join me for dinner sometime, yours truly,

Uchiha Sasuke of Red Hood restaurants.
