I was playing around on the computer one day, and I came up with this idea, I hope you like.

Sonic raced through the forest at top speed, dodging missiles and bullets as he went. He weaved in and out of trees in an attempt to lose the offending robots.
"Shit!" He cursed under his breath, "These things are everywhere." He evaded yet another one of the spider like robots. Sonic ran out into a clearing and found himself alone. He scanned the area for enemies, and upon finding none, he stepped cautiously forward. But he apparently hadn't scanned carefully enough, as a huge cage fell down on him. He frantically did continuous homing attacks against the bars but to no avail, there wasn't even a scratch. He was about to try another round of attacks, but a SWATbot walked up to the bars and aimed his laser rifle at Sonic. The shot was fired, but Sonic felt no pain as the world went black and he fell to the ground.
Knuckles ducked down as a bit of scrap metal from the robot he just destroyed flew towards him. He lunges forward and punched another robot, causing it to crash into the one behind it and explode.
"Tails! Go!" He called clearing a path for the young fox. Tails flew quickly through the open door to the prison block and once inside ran over to Sonic's cage. Instead of bars it had an electric force field, but in Tails' eyes, this was easier to dispose of. The kitsune walked to where you were meant to enter the code and hacked it. As soon as the cage entrance was gone, Sonic sped out.
"Sonic, wait up!" Tails called and raced after him. Sonic slowed to a stop when he reached Knuckles, Amy, Chuck and Chris, who had helped out (A/N: All except Chris, who can't do anything.) during the fight. Tails soon joined them and skidded to a halt, accidentally knocking Sonic's arm on the way. Sonic turned around quickly and hit Tails hard in the ribs. The young fox screamed in pain as he skidded along the ground from the force of the attack. Sonic walked forward so he was towering above the fox kit, who was now clutching his chest tightly.
"Don't you dare bang into me again, freak." He threatened, spitting the last word. He turned to the others, "Hurry up, let's go." He ordered dashing off towards Chris' house. Knuckles ran over to Tails and helped him up.
"You ok?" He asked supporting the kitsune soon as he stood up. Tails nodded, despite the pain he was in. Tears threatened to stain Tails' cheeks as he looked up at the echidna who held him. Knuckles shook his head solemnly,
"Sonic's got some explaining to do." He whispered angrily as they all entered the car and sped off after Sonic.
