A spell on you

USUK Alfred is part of a resistance in a world full of magic. They're rebelling against the royal family's forces which grow stronger each day and it's their job to stop it. Hopefully they'll be able to stop the tyrannical reign of the family, but who is this new mage? he's causing them a lot more trouble than they thought he could, but he might be useful. The more the merrier!

1. Chapter 1:OH MY GOD ITS BEEN YEARS

HELLO HI, YES, WOW IT'S BEEN A WHILE HASN'T IT?

Hey so yes this is AuchMel, and because I'm significantly battered by the internet now and don't have the same reservations you can call me Daniel.

Alrighty so cutting to the chase: I am VERY sorry.

This goes especially to my readers from way back then who have followed this story, actually LIKED it (? don't know how ya'll did), and just to put salt in the wound expected me to update the story and finish it. To those people, who genuinely actually wanted me to keep writing, I essentially ghosted one day without ANY explanation, I am so sorry.

I was very VERY young when I made this story, about 13 actually. Obviously this is more or less baby's first fanfic in a fandom I became excited about (and had a shocking revelation of my sexuality in thanks), and I wanted to explore through writing but because I was so young things didn't go so smoothly. Eventually writing the story burned me out in the worst way possible and I just decided to disappear, which now I realize is an arsehole thing to do, so I'm here to make amends.

I'm a university student now and since then my writing HAS improved, I write original works but I still do fanfics as well. It's just that my passion for the Hetalia fandom has really faded over the years, coupled with the embarrassment of my stumble through learning how to write on this site.

The main point I'm trying to say is that if you, the readers, will allow it I would like to redo everything, but I make no promises I can't keep this time. I want nothing more than to fix my honestly low-quality story and finish what I started, but as I said before my passion in this fandom has faded, so I can't write as happily as I did back then. I could rewatch the series to get some nostalgia motivation back, but that's about it.

I STILL have the whole plot for this story on outline.

I know my story isn't much compared to a lot of the good ones out there, but I feel that I at least owe this much.

Again though, no promises but if I do actually rewrite everything and finish it, I'll post it here.

I am really sorry for leaving like that though, my younger self had no manners :/
