Shion sat waiting at DogKeeper's hotel. He wasn't really sure what he was waiting for. Suddenly, Nezumi walked up to him. "You done washing these darn dogs yet, Shion?" He asked grumpily. Shion pouted. "No, I haven't." he replied. Then Dog Keeper walked up to Shion and pushed him. "Yes, you ARE done with the dogs. You've been done for the past hour!" Shion thought about it for a minute. Huh, I guess she was right. There was something nagging at the back of Shion's mind; like something he ought to know. Turning to Nezumi, he asked, "Hey, Nezumi, what day is it today?" Nezumi frowned. "It's Friday 7th september, why?" Nezumi replied curiously. Shion's eyes widened in surprise.
"It's my birthday today!" He exclaimed loudly. "I must have forgotten! Oops!" He added. Nezumi stared at him for a moment. "Shion, if you had remembered earlier, I would have got you something." Nezumi stated in a slightly annoyed voice. Shion smiled, "Oh, that's okay Nezumi. You didn't have to get me anything anyway." He told the taller boy. Nezumi frowned at him. "I still feel like I need to give you something, though." Nezumi told him in an impatient voice. Shion thought for a moment. "Well, if it will make you happy, you can give me whatever you feel like." Shion told him.
Nezumi stilled. "Anything?" He asked cautiously. Shion nodded before replying, "Sure, anything." Nezumi showed his trademark smirk, and briskly walked forwards and hooked one arm around Shion's neck, and the other around his waist. Shion's eyes widened as Nezumi closed the gap between them, and pulled the stunned Shion into a loving kiss. Shion recovered from the shock of suddenly getting kissed by Nezumi, and began to kiss back with intensity.
Eventually they broke apart for some much needed air. Shion opened his eyes, after having shut them sometime during the kiss, and looked into Nezumi's grey orbs. Shion burst into a giant smile and leaned in to give Nezumi a peck on the lips. "Wow, I think that was the best gift I could ever receive!" He breathed. Nezumi smirked and pulled him into a hug. They heard clapping, and turned to see Dog Keeper sitting next to one of her dogs, stroking it's head. "Well, who knew you swung the 'other' way, eh Nezumi? It was kinda obvious for you, though Shion." Dog Keeper told them, before getting up and giveing them a wave goodbye. "See, you round, lovebirds." Dog Keeper walked away.
Nezumi just pulled Shion into another kiss.
Haha, DONE. This is for Shion's Birthday, although I happen to be exactly 25 minutes too late. Oh well.
