Tenaya-7 ducked hurriedly as the Gold Ranger's fist sailed over her head; he almost lost his balance. She struck out at him, decimating his morph and sending him to the ground.
"Hey!" his sister called, following right after and squaring off against her. "Don't hurt my brother!"
"Get her, Gemma!" Summer yelled from where she was, tied up by Venjix with the rest of the Rangers. "Defeat her!"
Tenaya laughed. "You really think you can?" She tossed Gemma beside Gem demorphing her as well, and shot a blast of lightning at them that cast a blue blanket over both of them- a forcefield.
"LET US OUT OF THIS!" Gem roared.
"Only one of you can come out."
"Huh?"
"Only one of you can fight... and you must be prepared to die."
"Not happening," Gem snapped. "We'll stay in here forever if we must."
"No." Gemma shook her head fiercely. "I will go. I will fight you."
"Don't!" Flynn shouted at her. "Lass, it ain't worth your life!"
"But I won't die." She le ou a growl. "Let me out, Tenaya."
"Please, no!" Gem tried to grab her arm, but at a wave of Tenaya's hand, she exited the field before her brother could catch her. "NO!"
Gemma narrowed her eyes. "Tenaya, let's go."
"Very well. And there's one more rule..." She smiled. "No powers or morphs. Only weapons and bare-knuckle brawling."
"Deal."
The two of them squared of for a moment before Gemma took off toward her enemy, ready to fight against her. However, Tenaya moved with astounding speed, her fists slamming into Gemma's neck. She gasped as she collapsed, her head hitting the pavement hard. A sword appeared in her hand and she stabbed it at her opponent. Unfortunately, it caught the side of her chest as she tried to roll away. Blood spilled out of her, soaking the ground.
"GEMMA!" Summer wailed.
The Silver Ranger stumbled to her feet and lunged again, finally managing to strike a blow on the side of her face, but she hit back harder, nails slashing across Gemma's body, just as the forcefield around Gem dissipated. He raced toward his sister... but reached her right after the sword came down again... slashing her throat.
"Tenaya, STOP!" Gem threw himself down beside her... right as Venjix released the other Rangers and fled with Tenaya. They joined him.
"Gemma, we told you not to fight," Flynn groaned, grasping her hand. "You should have listened..."
"But I had to protect you..." Gemma croaked. "I'm so sorry... I love you all... sorry, brother..."
"No..." It was heartbreaking to hear what Dillon said next. "Gemma, we need you... the team can't go on without you..."
It was almost too late. Just as he finished that sentence... Gem's sister took her last breath...
And she was gone.
