Hello! I know I should post something in Because of this War or start the third in the Sing Along series like I said I would, but, well... the finale kinda took off the Zuko sings part. I may have to replace him with Toph. Anyway, this is entirely thanks to IMDb user guilmon3, who put a haiku thread on the Avatar boards there. I would advise all users there to check it out. As it is, I'm becoming obsessed with writing haikus, and so here goes. An Avatar haiku. Or... groups of haikus? Can you actually do one like this?
Well, this can refer to any character, characters, or situation that you want it to. I won't say what I had in mind while I was writing this. There are no specifics.
Each verse has a certain number of syllables per line, in a 5-7-5 sequence, for those who've forgotten Tales of Ba Sing Se.
Disclaimer: I don't own Avatar, although it's never directly mentioned in here, or the haiku art. I just own the actual haiku(s) I wrote.
Changes come about
Destiny brushes us all
Only time will tell.
Soon darkness will fall.
But a light will be brought forth.
Hope is not yet lost.
Moment changes all
The truth reveals everything.
But it all can change.
Just as things look up.
They begin to fall back down.
Fall into darkness.
No light is around
Though we search with all we have.
It cannot be seen.
But there is still hope:
Create the light that you seek.
Let it guide your way.
Stand until you fall.
And love until you are lost.
Try until you fail.
When it is over,
Continue like it is not.
And never give up.
The hope that you bring.
More powerful than you know.
