Remember.
She sat on the cliff looking out to the ocean; She is sitting her letting the tears fall. She has sat on this cliff every day, every morning, watching the sunrise for a year, a year since his death.
"You promise me Jason. You promise me that you wouldn't leave me, You said you would always be here."
She continues to stare out to the ocean. "You always said you loved this spot. You said that you did your best thinking her. I now I sit here and think too." She wipes at her eyes but it does no good. "Carly comes here with me too sometimes. I think she is afraid that I will do something crazy. The funny thing is that I never once thought about jumping, who would be there for Jason Michael Morgan. He said Dada yesterday. Dammit Jason I cried for 3 hours straight. Carly came over and found me on the floor holding Jay in my arms, rocking back and fourth."
"She took him from me, put him in his crib and got on the floor with me and cried too." She stood up and continued to look. "I love our son so much but sometimes it hurts to look at him. He looks so much like you. Your eyes. Your lips. Your nose."
"Why do you have to go after that man? Why?" she started to pace. "Why didn't you send one of Sonny's men. I was going to tell you I was pregnant. I wanted to celebrate. I made you your favorite dinner. When I told you, I wanted you to get up from your chair, kiss, and twirl me around. Then I wanted to spend the night in your arms. But you called and told me you were going to be late. I wanted to tall you over the phone but you said you had to hurry. Maybe I should have. Maybe you would not have took so many risk. Maybe you would still be alive. Maybe you would have come home to me.
She fell to the ground. "Maybe we would still be a family. Oh Jason I'm so sorry. I miss you. I need you. I love you."
She was now crying uncontrollably. Whispering I love you to know one but the wind.
"He loved you too Courtney." Sonny said as he walked up to his sister His own tears falling now. "He loved you to. He looked at her crying over the man that so many hated, feared, respected, and loved.
"Come on Courtney we need to you home. Jay needs you." He went over to his sister, picked her up, and carried her to the waiting limo.
