People die. That's just how life is. And when people die, life moves on for those who don't care, and stops for those who do.
Anthony died that night (flash of green light = one more dead body to add to the casualty count)
Padma kind of fell to pieces, locked herself away (like a princess in a tower /\ except this one had a burn scar on her face and was stuck together with stickytape)
Terry says little or nothing nowadays (he just sits on Anthony's grave and waits for something {anything})
Lilia's sister died violently (and people say that Lilia did too)
Eliza screams at night when the nightmares are all too much (and all of those men she sleeps with to help her forget never really help)
Michael's given up, just a little bit (because Cho gave up in her fifth year and Michael was just slow on the uptake)
Aria moves to Australia and doesn't write anymore (because words can't fill that empty void Anthony left behind)
Every year these brave soldiers go back to Hogwarts to pay their respects to the lost and loved ones in some way that doesn't show at all what they've lost.
And, every year, on this exact day, six Ravenclaws gather in their old common room, sit on the floor with their hands linked, and they just sit in silence.
It feels like they can feel Anthony sitting with them. And it feels normal.
Reviews are love!
