Meet the old friends
I was running through the woods, trying to slow down enough for Jake to catch up with me. This was a little slower than I wanted, especially with the joy I was hiding inside me. And then I stopped

I run faster and faster, trailing the scent and in a while the werewolf was far behind me. I shouted to him to hurry.
… The people saw the danger. Charlie told Sue to not move. They were out of luck – the bear was hungry, I could tell…
Well, I was thirsty. I pushed the bear into the bushes so hard and fast, that neither Charlie nor Sue saw what had happened, though she probably understood. I focused on my pray and tried to ignore the delicious smell of the humans on the other side of the clearing. I finished for less than a minute – surely not enough time to get them out of the shock. I started walking in their direction slowly and carefully.
"You OK?" I asked.
They both continued looking at me warningly.
"Yeah…" Sue was the first one to speak.
"Sue, my name is Alice Cullen. Do you remember me? It's all right". She nodded.
"Alice? Is that really you? But… the bear… how?" asked Charlie.
I looked at Sue telling her with my eyes not to ruin it. After Charlie saw me, we couldn't avoid telling him the secret, but now wasn't the time.
"That's neither the time nor the place for this conversation, Charlie" said Jake, suddenly appearing next to me "Let us all go to Billie's place and we will tell you everything you want to know". I looked at him miserably.
"If Volturi understand…"
"Sue knows, right? Why not Charlie?"
"Because her children are werewolves! She cannot not know!"
"Well, Charlie's child is a vamp…" I closed his mouth.
"Shush! Quite! Don't tell him the news in this kind of way!"
"Ok, ok fine! Let's go!"
