Summary: A bunch of drabbles about what happens in Konoha, based on certain songs.

Author's Note: I'm sorry for not writing a lot of stories, but I've been busy with school and personal business, so it's been kind of hard to make time for writing (face palm). And yeah, songfics are weird. What's weirder is that I listen to an extremely odd variety of songs, from mainstream to J-pop. I don't know what's wrong with me, so bear with me, please. Mkay, here's the first instalment of the drabble series.

I wake up as the first rays of sunlight hit my face. I open my mismatched eyes, and shield them from the intense light. It's morning, late morning, judging from the brightness of the sun. Your window blinds are not much help to me, as they're only half closed.

Raking my hand through my mussed-up silver hair, I sit up and look at you as you sleep soundly. Your beautiful cherry-pink hair is spread out on your pillow like a fan, and I gently run my hand through it. It's silky soft, your hair. I don't think you know that Pakkun uses the same shampoo as you do, but I'd rather not say anything, lest I receive an extra hard punch from you. But it's nice. It's a familiar smell.

I look at you as the sunlight hits your face. You're beautiful, even if you don't really know it. Your pale, yet healthy looking skin is marred with barely any imperfections, due to your astounding skill as a medic. Your eyes are closed, but those eyelids hide the most beautiful and expressive emerald eyes that I've ever seen. Anyone would be smitten with the way that they sparkle in the light, and the way they widen as you spot something cute.

I laugh quietly as I remember the time when we went to the small carnival here in Konoha. You were so eager to try out the Ferris wheel, which made me end up sick. The carousel was fairly alright, though it was rather embarrassing as Naruto and Sai hooted "Sensei's riding the unicorns!" as it whirled around and around.

You headed towards the parlour games immediately and I watched as you tried to shoot the hoop in the bottle to no avail. I remember guiding your hand carefully, and the look of happiness on your face as all five hoops landed around the bottle. You giggled at the way the game master muttered darkly about ninjas cheating just to win prizes, but he smiled all the same as he handed you your prize. Who wouldn't smile when the winner was a beautiful woman like you? As we walked home, you kept laughing about how much the bear looked like me, with its eye patch and ninja mask. I was beginning to think that you picked that bear on purpose.

I sigh contentedly and kiss your cheek lightly. You stir, and open your eyes slightly. They're hit by the bright light, and they sparkle like diamonds. I can't get enough of them.

"Kakashi, why are you up so early?" You ask me, as you yawn hugely, and rub your eyes.

I smile. "Nothing special, just taking the time to look at you as you snore."

You look at me weirdly. "I don't snore." You hit my arm lightly and grin. "And don't look at me while I sleep. Don't be an Edward Cullen."

"Don't worry, I'm not." I chuckled, and wrap an arm around your shoulder, bringing you closer to me.

A few minutes pass and you're sound asleep once again. Your head rests lightly on my scarred shoulder, and I smile to myself.

I'm not leaving this bed any time soon.
