This is a K/K Poem made to represent Kenshin's feelings toward Kaoru. Its
is kind of angsty, but this takes place in a time when Kenshin truly
believes that Kaoru doesn't love him.

I know I won't always be there
But you must know that the time that we share
Is the most precious thing I've ever possessed
Even though I've laid to rest...
All of the feelings I have for you
Will never be as obvious to you
But the feelings are best gone
Even though I will long
For the love I know you will keep
For the one whom you will meet
That will give you his heart
Even if it's tearing mine apart
I know that it will never do,
The undying love I have for you
And even though you'll never care
I hope to always be there.
