Happiness
If you had asked Zach what happiness was when he was five he would have told you that it was the Saturdays his dad spent with him at the fishing pond, the only time they were together without his mother. Though now that he thinks about it there was a good chance there was a spy or two on their tail.
If you asked him what happiness was when he was 15 he would have said getting a perfect score on his covops report.
But now, at age 25 he would tell you happiness was being at home with Cammie, there three year old daughter Morgan Rachel Goode, And the one year old twins Joey and Andrew Goode. Even when he was gone he kept photos of them in his wallet.
What he did not think happiness was is crouching in an old attic on Christmas Eve when you should be at home with your family. But that was where he was because the agency wanted him on Christmas Eve. So that was where he was. Zach glanced over at Joe who was beside him, looking perfectly fine to be here on Christmas Eve. Well yeah that was because he had no family to be with, no three year old daughter who had cried when you told her you wouldn't be home for Christmas, no wife who understood why you had to be here but still you woke up to her crying. Its 8:30 thought Zach right now Cammie, Morgan, Joey, and Andrew were putting out cookies and milk for Santa Clause. Cookies he had helped them make two days ago. And he wouldn't be there to put them out.
I know its short but I have been super busy. And it's sad. Oh well
