HUZZAH FOR ANOTHER REWRITE. I managed to just quickly do this one, oneshots are lovely to rewrite, great for warming up for rewriting my more complicated stories :3

Enjoy the rewrite of 'Meeting Jenny Lewis'.

As the scarlet heel landed loudly on the floor, the sharp clack resounding around the main room of the ARC, the whole room went well and truly silent. The sound echoed loudly around the enormous room, screaming important and government. The woman's dark chestnut curls danced around her shoulders seductively, her eyes penetrating into everyone's souls, ripping out their essence and shredding it. But that's who she was. Heart-stopping, seductive, important. I could hardly say lady; somehow she seemed so powerful and fierce, that it couldn't possibly apply to her. Yet I find myself staring into the eyes of the classiest lady I've seen since… She smiled, showing two rows of white, sparkling, perfectly aligned teeth. Her red lipstick glittered and glimmered underneath the flood lights that rimmed the room in which we stood. And still, everyone was silent, waiting for an introduction. I was fascinated. She was of a regular height and weight, but was radiating a glow. No, not a glow. A status. Significant rang clearly around her like an aura, a perfume. Her Dolce and Gabanna dress flowed elegantly to her knees, showing off itty-bitty ankles, and perfectly toned legs.

It was all too familiar for me.
"Everyone, I'd like you to meet Jennifer Lewis."
The words stung me like the barbs of a stingray, burning, singing. Acid drizzling over what was left of me, a ruined man, everything lost. Something killing my last, sad, possible hopes.
"Claudia Brown." I was so sure of it, it just wasn't right. Had to be some sort of sick joke of Helen's. This was just wrong. Agonizing. Worst than losing Claudia or Helen.
"Jenny. Nice to meet you."

Oh the pain had only just started.
